Hello! Im EtuSnake, but you may call me Etu. I love playing league. Im telling you the basics of . Im a main and I have 300k points on him. I even have Hextech Kog'Maw! I started playing league when came out. This is my first guide so I hope you all like it!

And now, into the first chapter: Abilities.

Abilities

Kog'Maw's abilities are simple to learn but hard to master. Let me tell you what they are and how to use them correctly.

Caustic Spittle: Sends a skillshot. This projectile damages the first enemy it hits. You can use it to poke the enemy, but I suggest using it to lower the enemy armor and magic resist. After you land this nuke, you activate your W and to do major damage to the enemy from a distance. Passively it grants attack speed. I suggest maxing this second.

Bio-Arcane Barrage: Increases your basic attack range and makes them deal extra max heath magic damage. Thanks to this max health bonus dmg, Kog'Maw shreds tanks so fast. Combine this with all possible on-hit effects (such as ), you will do so much damage in so little time. This is your main ability so max it first.

Void Ooze: Kog'maw basically pukes some acid that slows enemies. The strategy with this is simple: You slow an enemy that is running away, then you use your Q to weaken the target. This way you will have your ready to shoot some people! You should max this last due to its high mana cost.

Living Artillery: Nukes a target location. This is mainly used to pick up killing blows. Even though its low mana cost, you shouldn't spam this ability at all! If another fight starts just after you used your ultimate 3 times, your mana will be low and you will be an easy target for enemy assassins.

Getting trough your weaknesses

is one of the strongest adcs as I said, but you have so many weaknesses. That is why im listing you the ways to avoid them!

He can be your counter trough the entire game. When he is hunting for you, DON'T use E to slow him down, because that will make you stand still for a while. When something like this happens try to get help from your team. If you are in lane and this happens. Run (and flash if you have it) to your tower.

If you let him grab you in early game, then you have lost the match. Avoid hooks and shoot when he has abilities on cooldown. He is tanky, but if he builds full ap then try avoiding harder. He can hook you trough a wall into his team. Stay alert and don't make this happen. Farming safe is good tip for early game. Ask your jungler to help you kill the enemy botlane duo.

Tristana's is very dangerous for you and you need to avoid it all the time. Don't let her stack her ! When her abilities are on cooldown, try to give the litte yordle some spicy auto
attacks.

Support synergies

works with every support. Here I mentioned the best ones.

If you get a lulu as your support, you will dominate. She can do everything for Kog to make him stronger (like her W ). She can also help you farm if you have problems. In fights, lulu is able to cast her ultimate to heal you or knock up enemies.

Blitzcrank can block attacks and be a great offensive help to you. If he can secure the full combo of Q + E + R, you will be able to pick up at least one kill (if the target doesn't have or ).

Karma can shield you and boost your movement speed. She can help you pick up a kill or get you safe. Rushing will boost the shields and grant Kog'Maw boosts when her shields are active.

Items and runes

Items are a core part of this guide, so I will list them here!

Rageblade: Best item for you to buy. Boosts your mixed damage and doubles your on-hit effects. I suggest buying this first
Runaan's hurricane: Must buy Kog item. Makes your attacks multi target. Buying this second is the right way.
Frozen mallet: A defensive item. Makes your attacks slow enemies!
BOTRK: Great offensive item, use the active!
Trinity Force: A great late-game item with nice stats and effects. Great item for this build because it gives mana, attack speed and nice damage boost on ability use.
Lord Dominik's regards: Offensive item. Grants ad and armor penetration.

Ah runes, my favorite part. These are the runes of this build:

Lethal tempo: The main Kog'maw Keystone. Grants attack speed and removes the attack speed cap. Strong in all stages of the game.
Triumph: Extra gold if you're bad at farming lul. Can grant a lead, if you are losing lane.
Legend: Alacrity: Attack speed boost from takedowns.
Coup de grace: You deal more damage to low health enemies. This can combo with your ult damage well. It also grants you attack damage for 10 seconds from takedowns.
Bone plating: Reduces damage from enemy attacks. Remember to track its cooldown, so you won't go in without it!
Unflinching: Grants you tenacity after summoner spell use for a short duration. This can help when flashing away from enemies or grant tenacity for you during a fight after you use heal.

Conclusion

is a very strong ADC if played correctly. Noobs better read this guide XD
