Introduction

Shaco is a mobile assassin that is best played in the jungle. At first, when I tried Shaco, I built ability power; but, attack damage is a much better way to build Shaco than AP. I like most assassins like Talon and LeBlanc, but these aren't effective in the jungle. I hope this guide will motivate and help you with AD jungle Shaco.

Runes & Masteries

I go for straight up damage with runes and masteries, with an exception for armor which helps against neutral monster fighting.

Items

I focus on critical strike chance and attack damage with some emphasis on defense. Static Shiv is pretty much core on Shaco because it gives you attack speed, critical strike chance, and an on-hit affect (for your clone). Critical strike chance is core because Shaco has 2 critical striking abilities, so why not make that bonus worth more.

Skill Sequence

Even though this is an AD build and guide, Two Shiv Poison is still Shaco's primary damage dealing spell (plus it's passive is pretty sweet). I max deceive second because of it's cooldown reduction and it being Shaco's blink. Save Jack In The Box for level 18.

Pros / Cons

Pros
- can gank at level 2
- terrifying at level 9-13
- has good critical strike chance already
- can't escape by running away
- can jump over the thickest walls
Cons
- needs red buff
- very squishy
- tanks are a counter to Shaco

Creeping / Jungling

I recommend asking for a leash on red buff, do wraiths and then gank mid. If successful (taken flash or some summoner spell or life) then try to counter jungle the blue buff. Here's a tip for timing your Jack in The Boxes: start setting up jack in the boxes at red buff at 1 minute exactly
the monsters should spawn at about 1:45.

Summary
