Introduction

Hello this is my first real guide here on Mobafire, initially it was supposed to be only for myself to read but then I wanted to see what others think about my build so I can maybe improve it and get some feedback! Please rate and comment.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
Great Damage
Slows down the enemy team
Free Clairvoyence
Crystal Arrow can shut their highest dps champion down

Cons:
Squishy
Not the strongest mid laner

Cant really find any more Cons than that, she is a good laner against anyone that isn't too pushy and spams their abilities alot like Heimer or Malzahar.

Runes

Greater Quintessence of Health, its just a great choice for any squishy hero. You could get even more ArP if you want to.

Greater Mark of Desolation, this is a kind of an obvious choice.

Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration, I like to play with those so I can spam Volley to land ganks with ease in mid game and to have enough mana for using my Crystal Arrow everytime its off cooldown(if its necessary ofcourse).

Greater Glyph of Scaling Cooldown Reduction, This is again to reduce the CD of Volley and Crystal Arrow. Not really any other rune that is better for this type of carry.

Masteries

The masteries is a pretty straight forward (21/0/9) Offensive build. You can see that I have put points into Offensive Mastery and Brute Force , this is to make last hitting easy while you are farming for that crucial B. F. Sword. If you feel you have no problem farming then you can put the points into Sorcery and Archaic Knowledge instead for a bit added Enchanted Crystal Arrow damage. However in my opninion Enchanted Crystal Arrow damage will have so low damage vs anyone thats not really squishy with or without that extra Magic Penetration and is pretty mutch only used to stun/slow rather then to kill.

Items

So, I have really tried to put together the best build possible for most scenarios.
You start out with a Doran's Blade and hopefully your team lets you go mid or lane with a Support hero. This will allow you to last hit and stay in lane with.

After getting the Boots we move on to the B. F. Sword which you will need as soon as possible, this will make your mid game damage great and you should be able to land some kills easily. Right after that we will get Zeal for some Crit, AS and most importantly(imo) Movement Speed, you can now catch up your opponents, slow them, and land a good critical hit with your B. F. Sword.

After this its time to upgrade your boots, to be a true unstoppable carry you will need Mercury Treads. With those boots you will get some Magic Resistance and also Tenacity which will help you get out of sticky situations like exhaust for example. Okey, now you will just upgrade your B. F. Sword into a Infinity Edge followed by either Vampiric Scepter or Phantom Dancer, its your choice if you think the lifesteal from Doran's Blade is enough.

Now we will have to get some survivability, the item you want to get as a carry would be Banshee's Veil which gives you some HP, Magic Resistance and Bubble. To finish the build you will get Bloodthirster for even more damage and lifesteal, if the game is still going on you will definetly need some HP so my choice is Frozen Mallet. Sure we already have a slow but it gives a good bit of HP and some added damage.

You've probably notice that this build doesn't really have any ArP items but you shouldn't be targeting their tanks anyway. If they have a really tanky team with lots of armor you would want to use another build, I will update the guide with this anti-tank build later.

Skill Sequence

After Enchanted Crystal Arrow Volley will be maxed out first and secondly Frost Shot. Its crucial that you put a point into Hawkshot at lvl 4, specially if you are in mid. This will help you prevent ganks on you and your teammates.

Summoner Spells

For your Summoner Spells you will need survivability, my pick is Ghost + Flash. Both of those can also be used offensively, shoot your Enchanted Crystal Arrow and Flash right in chasing them down with Ghost, Volley and Frost Shot. You could swap Ghost for Exhaust if you want to counter those other AD Carry's focusing you.

How to use your abilities

There are a few main things that you need to think about. I will list the most important and frequent uses for your every ability here.

Frost Shot
You should turn this on anytime you want to chase someone, it can help you get that last arrow in to land a kill before they run under their turret. You should also have this turned on in every team battle to to slow down whoever you are focusing.

Volley
This is a great harrasment tool in early to mid game, it also lands a good slow. Try to hit a few Frozen Shots while they are slowed right after Volley for added damage. You can also use this to help someone on your team that is running from one or multiple enemies by shotting them through the wall or at a safe distance.

Hawkshot
Use this to prevent ganks on yourself and your teammates, you can also check things like where there jungler is at, if they are taking baron or dragon or if there whole team is standing in a bush attempting to ambush you.

Enchanted Crystal Arrow
This abiliy slows by alot and also stuns the target it hits for a few seconds. You should try to hit the enemy AD Carry in every team fight if you can to shut down their dps and win the fight. If you want to try save someone on your team you can shoot this across the map and try to land it on the enemy that is chasing.

Summary

This is probably one of the most efficient ways to play Ashe, now that you have the build you can go out there and practice your skills. Ashe is a very easy hero to play, yet she currently is one of the best AD Carrys in the game. I don't know if the Skill Sequence is put out the right way up in the Summary, but you can see in the Skill Sequence part of the build how to put those points out. Also, if someone wants to tell me how to put out small icons of items, runes, skills etc please tell me. Enjoy, Please rate and comment!
