Introduction

Hi,

My name is Forcje. I am a 17-year-old boy from The Netherlands and I play a lot of Anivia. I want to share my build with you because I think that this a very good way to build Anivia. Have fun reading my guide and I hope you enjoy it!

Cya!

Runes

9x Greater Mark of Magic Penetration
The best mark for a AP Carry.

9x Greater Seal of Replenishment
I think flat mana regeneration seals are very good on Anivia because Anivia is very mana hungry early game. If you get pushed on your lane you can use your spells to farm creeps, with these seals this is easyer.

9x Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
Anivia has little HP, these glyphs reduce a lot of incoming damage from the other AP Carry on your lane.

9x Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed
I use MMS Quints because Anivia has a very low base movement speed, these Quints make up for that low movement speed. This makes placing a wall behind your enemy or roaming the map easyer. Im not going for flat AP quints because Anivia has plenty of damage pre-6 without AP.

Masteries

I'm going for a 21-0-9 masteries. I think this is the best on anivia because you want to do as much damage as possible.

I think farming with your auto-attacks with anivia is pretty challenging. Thats why I am making it easyer for myself to select Butcher and Brute Force . If I wouldn't select this I'd have +3 AP from Mental Force . I think getting gold is way more important than 3 AP and that is why I am going for these masteries.

You need the 9 points in utility for Runic Affinity , wich makes your blue buff last longer.

Items

Core:
- Sorcerer's Shoes
- Rod of Ages
- Chalice of Harmony

Followed by:
- Rabadon's Deathcap
- Athene's Unholy Grail

Always try to finish situational:
- Void Staff (When facing a lot of Force of Nature on enemy team)

- Abyssal Mask (Very good against AP Heavy teams)

- Warmog's Armor (Always good as a defensive item)

- Zhonya's Hourglass (The passive is good when Anivia has spells on cooldown or a big Focus-Fire on her)

- Guardians Angel ( guardian's angel + Rebirth will make you live longer, but make sure your team has enough tankyness when building this)

- Deathfire Grasp (Usefull when bruisers will move towards you in fights and if you want to shut them down quickly.)

- Banshee's Veil (Against Blitzcrank, Ahri and other anoying initiate stuff)

Skill Sequence

1 Q --> E is useless without chill effects, W is countered by flash in a level 1 fight. Stun is very good for maybe your first blood ;)
2 E --> Damage
3 E --> Damage
4 W --> Wall, now you can ask the jungler to come for a gank, place a wall to help your Q hit, than hit your E, ignite him, make sure the jungler does enought damage and the kill is yours!
5 E --> Damage
6 R --> Farmtool + Chill effect + Damage

Now:
Max R --> Also a lot of damage, easy farming
Max E --> Main damage output
Max W --> Makes sure ur Q stays on low mana cost, and a big wall is very good in mid-game fights, it will eventually do more than when u leveld ur Q
Max Q --> Finally max this, make sure u press Q the second time to stun when using this skill, if you missed it quickly try to get some caster minions when laning, or dont press Q twice in fights and sometimes a silly guy still runs in to it.

Summoner Spells

Flash --> Anivia is squishy and doesn't have gap closers.
Ignite --> For the tanky champions and kills when laning.

Farming

R on the creeps.
E the siege car.
Use Q if you want, but it costs more mana but the wave is cleared faster.

Get a lot of your own wraith camps.
Put a wall in the enemy wraith camp and take the big one if it's up.
