Why Pyke Top?

Normally in the Top Lane there are bruisers (Fiora, Aatrox, Kled...), tanks (Mundo, Ornn, Malphite...) or even rangers (Quinn, vayne, Teemo...). Pyke isn't a common top laner, but that doesn't mean that you can't use it, there is a method to play him, and that depends on who you encounter top.

What If you encounter a Tank?

Well, if you encounter a Tank, you don't have to worry that much. Tanks are commonly characters that doesn't do that much damage, just try to poke or bring them under tower. You can also ask help to your jungler (you don't really need to). A Remember, you have a good movement, try dodge their abilities and damage them, and buy the eclipse to deal more damage to them.

What if you encounter a Bruiser?

Bruisers are hibrids from Tanks and damage with a speciality for AoE damage. Against them you have to act like you are fighting a Tank but with more damage and even speed sometimes, Poking and stunning are the best choices you can apply.

What if you encounter a Ranged

The ranged are stronger in toplane only because of their longer range of attack, what if the range is useless? Grabbing them is the best solution to get a kill. Remember that you are literally playing botlane without a support or an opponent support.
