He is pretty OP to be honest. He stomps you levels 1 and 2. After that, he still has good sustain, and devastating long trades that you cant win. Keys to beat this one are: Dodge his W true damage, stun him before he can start punching your face, save E to get out if he tries to hook you in with his E. Also your ult is better than his, so try to rush Botrk and chunk him down with AA+W+AA+Q

Champion Build Guide
If you dont have much time to read, the best advice is to dont mess it up. Renekton has a very good early game but is not the unbeatable first 10 minutes monster he was. He is very based around outplaying your opponents, so he has a risky playstile. If you feel like taking too much risk, it is better to use your advantage by zoning off of minions and poking down rather than trying to do All-ins and getting kills. With the Turret Plates mechanic, even if you dont get a kill, forcing your opponent out of lane and taking a plate while making him loose farm is also worth it.
Rush
Blade of the Ruined King 99% percent of the games, it is a really busted item that allows Renekton to turn a losing lane into a winning lane. Just try and dont die until Lvl 6 if you feel like you cant get kills safely. Once you have Ult and BOTRK, you are fine to fight
