Runes

Riven is really underpowered because she is constantly out of mana. She can never do anything because of this. So I take mana regen and per level or every single rune. This ensures that you can get some mana and maybe even use an ability that game. if you dont take mana runes then you cant do anything besides auto attack and thats bad cause your an ap caster.

Masteries

I like to go 30 in utility for the gold income bonuses. it helps so much in the laning phase. it might even get you your items faster!.
