Renekton is a fairly oppressive champ in lane that you will not be able to kill without JG pressure or they would have to make a very critical mistake levels 1-5. Renekton can dash in, combo/stun you, and easily dash out for 1/2 of your HP bar early on. You can look to aggressively trade level 1 for a cheese kill but even when he comes back to lane and hits level 3 he still has the advantage. You do not really win this matchup without ignite and a full BORK, even then it can still be tough. It is better to play safe in this lane and control the wave so it will keep pushing into you to receive help from the jungler or to farm without dying.
Diana
A lot of Yasuo Players think diana is pretty oppressive in lane. The trick to out-trading Diana is to Windwall the Q of course, this will not allow her to use her E reset on you. If you Windwall the Q it is good to dash in to bait her to use her shield. Dash out and wait for the shield to expire. As the shield is expiring dash back in for an all in or a heavy trade to give you the edge in the lane. It is better to make the lane hard for your opponent rather letting them control you in the lane.
Annie
Overall Annie can be pretty annoying to play against with her AA range and her point and click stun. Try to manage the wave near your turret. If Annie ever uses her stun Pre-6 you should be going all in for the kill or a heavy trade to force her out of lane. You can only really do this when the wave is near your turret since the lane is so short, otherwise she will just walk back to her turret range. Be careful at level 6 because if Annie autos your passive shield down she can basically 100 to 0 you in 1 combo if her ignite is up. Exhaust can be pretty useful in this matchup as well. In team fights let her use her combo on a frontliner to insure that you can get off the most amount of damage in a fight.
Aurelion Sol
Aurelion Sol struggles against all gap closers. Close the distance and windwall the stun and you should be able to kill or force Sol out of lane with ease. It is hard to follow his roams so make sure you are letting your team know he will not be able to effectively lane against you so he is going to roam. Shove the wave constantly and look for those early turret platings. Punish Sol for leaving lane as he will do often because he will not want to lane against you.
Twisted Fate
Twisted Fate is not a threat to you at all because you can effectively Windwall all of his abilities. The one mistake that Yasuo players make in low elo is that as soon at TF pulls out a card they will Windwall. Make sure you are not throwing the windwall until TF throws the card at you. If TF ever uses his card on a wave you can go in instantly for a heavy trade/kill. The enemy jungler will look to help TF early so make sure you are warding accordingly, a lot of matchups you can take 2v1 if you optimize the usage of your Windwall.
Ekko
At level 3 Ekko can not trade against you too well. If you utilize your dashes through the minions you can dodge his stun. If you windwall any part of his Q you can out-trade him and make it a lot harder for him to proc his passive on you to run away. I would not really consider this a skill matchup but one bad play on your part resulting in an early death can make the lane a lot harder for you. Even when behind you can outplay an Ekko with good usage of your windwall.
Azir
Azir typically wants to sit back and poke you down with his soldiers. If you can get in on him early for heavy trades you can force him out of lane and kill him pretty easily. Grab an early Refillable and possibly a second Doran's blade to sustain the poke early on if necessary. Typically this turns into a farm lane that requires you to roam.
Irelia
Irelia is not much of a threat to Yasuo. If you throw her windwall anywhere between her stun it will completely negate it. Her ult is also a pretty big animation with a loud voiceline that is easy to block unless you are point blank. If you block her stun Pre-6 you can go in for a heavy trade/kill. Post 6 it is optimal to Windwall the ult but Windwalling the stun should still effectively be enough to kill her if you can get your ult off.
Garen
Garen has incredibly high base DMG and base tank stats. Try to bait out his Q as much as possible by walking up near the wave then walking back. If his Q is not up it does not mean that you can effectively trade with him because he still has his spin but you can look to last hit minions. If you are going to get hit by Garen Q followed up by his spin try to do so in the minion wave so it will push to you and you will be able to farm a lot easier. This will also leave his susceptible to ganks by your jungler.
Kassadin
It is really easy to abuse Kassadin early on because he is a heavy scaling champion. You should be able to zone him really easily until level 6 and if he does not respect it you should be able to force him out of lane or kill him pretty easily. Later on in the game Kassadin will be more of a problem with his high mobility and burst from his ult so I would recommend grabbing some MR if you can't end the game before 30 minutes.
Fizz
Fizz is definitely a skill matchup but I would say the matchup is still definitely Yasuo favored. You out-trade him early and you should be able to all in once his E is down. Try to dodge his E by dashing through minions then close the gap again to effectively trade. Pay attention once he is 6 because you can easily Wandwall his ult then look to all in him or force him to play passive in the lane until the CD is available again. If there is another AP threat on the other team especially the jungler I would recommend and early Hexdrinker.
Lissandra
Lissandra can be pretty frustrating to lane against so here are some things that you should know. Lissandra has 2 choices in lane, she can either poke you or farm with her Q. Try to stay away from your minions and pay attention to where she is positioning in the lane as she will try hit you and the minions with her Q. If Lissandra ever E's into you there is most like a gank coming so you should use your Windwall to block it and stop her entry. If she ever walks up to you and uses her W to root you immediately dash in and trade/all in. As you dash in she will try to E away so make sure to Windwall it. She will either die or have to flash depending on where the minion wave is. Typically she will be shoved in under your turret and you can trade heavily to get the kill or summoner spell. Also if you can knock lissandra up during the end of her E channeling you will cancel the channel and she will not be able to reactivate and get away. It's important to get an early pink ward in this matchup for the top or bottom river in between rift herald/dragon. Look to place it on the weaker side of the map depending on if bot/top is winning as this ward will also help them. You want to make sure to hug that side of the map to prevent her from ulting you and allowing the jungler to show up. Cleanse is also very good in this matchup or you can opt for QSS. Your goal is to farm safely in this matchup and not die. If you follow the steps above you will sometimes be able to punish as well.
Ryze
Ryze lanes are not going to see much action. Ryze will endlessly shove the wave into you and you will shove it back. Look to help your jungler make plays around the map during Ryze's recall to build a lead. Also look to take friendly/enemy raptor camps or scuttle crabs during downtime when there is no play to be made. Look for any type of gold lead that you can build around the map while helping your jungler secure neutral objectives. Later in the game if you have a QSS it will be very hard for Ryze to fight once your QSS his initial root. He will either have to retreat or die since you can Windwall his other abilities as well.
Vladimir
Vlad will look to poke you down slowly in lane and force you to go back. Always try to grab an early executioner's in this matchup and you should be able to out-trade him pretty heavily. Try to force him to use his pool whenever you can so he has to back up and give you lane priority or he will be susceptible to a jg gank or even your own all in. It is very hard to come back in this matchup if you get behind so if the enemy jungler is high pressure look to grab and early Pink Ward/Refillable to safely farm in lane.
Katarina
Overall Katarina is a pretty easy matchup. Look to Windwall her Q pre-6 and trade/all in. Her damage out put is significantly lower when her Q does not put out damage and the dagger is not placed on the ground for a reset/damage. You can use her daggers to bait her into fighting you by standing near them if you think you can win the all in. Post 6 you most definitely want to save the wind wall for her ult as it will burst you down and apply grievous wounds. Once her ult is done channeling begin to position on the other side of the wall to prevent her from landing another Q. If you guys are even you should always be able to mitigate most of her damage with the Windwall and win the trade.
Sylas
Sylas is not much of a threat to Yasuo. If you have ignite up for an all in you should always be able to win. If you Windwall the 2nd part of his E he cannot knock you up and with the ignite you stop him from healing. In most cases if the wave is near your turret he will not be able to get away if you Windwall the 2nd part of his E, forcing him to die or flash, or both. Be mindful that if sylas steals your ult (Last Breath) and lands the 2nd part of his E onto you he can use Last Breath as well. Executioner's is also not a bad buy against Sylas as it will allow you to fight him even without ignite up.
Talon
Talon is a pretty easy matchup. Try to dodge his W early on to avoid the poke damage. If he ever leaps to use Q early on a minion or on you from range immediately all in as his kit will not provide enough damage to one shot you unless he is casting his Q point blank. Once level 3 you can take almost any fight with your Windwall up. If you Windwall the 1st or 2nd part of his W he will not be able to proc his bleeding passive on you and you should get in a very good trade. Talon will look to roam so punish by shoving and getting plates, this should force the enemy jungler mid or you get free gold/solo xp. Post-6 be sure to save your Windwall for his ult, you should be able to mitigate enough damage to win the all in. Also look to grab PD in this matchup.
Zed
Zed is a very strong early to mid game champ that provides a lot of burst. You can look to trade pretty heavily levels 1-2 to try and make the lane very uncomfortable for him. once level 3 if he ever uses his shadow be sure to trade heavily after as you can Windwall his shurikens. When Zed ults you be sure to dash somewhere that would make all of his shurikens come from one direction. You can then use Windwall to mitigate most of that damage. If you get behind this can be a tough matchup and most junglers will be looking to help zed out in this matchup early on so be careful.
Ahri
Pre-6 Ahri can't do to much to you as you can trade with her in the minion wave without much backlash from her and out of the minions wave you can Windwall her abilities. You can get a pretty heavy lane advantage by dodging skillshots in this matchup. Post-6 whenever you ult Ahri she is going to most likely ult away making it hard to secure the kill. Look to shove the wave and make plays around the map.
