Hello, i'm PrimeRex and Ekko is one of the few champions I main. I have the highest mastery on him out of all my champs. I have him at mastery 7 and have over 125k mastery points on him. Ignite is very situational and should rarely be used as it prevents you from backing and getting back to the minion wave to reduce amount of gold loss.

Z-DRIVE RESONANCE Every third attack or damaging spell on the same target deals bonus magic damage, and grants Ekko a burst of speed if the target is a champion.

Ekko throws a temporal grenade that expands into a time-distortion field upon hitting an enemy champion, slowing and damaging anyone caught inside. After a delay, the grenade rewinds back to Ekko, dealing damage on its return.

W
PARALLEL CONVERGENCE
Ekko's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage to low health enemies. He can cast Parallel Convergence to split the timeline, creating an anomaly after a few seconds that slows enemies caught inside. If Ekko enters the anomaly, he gains shielding and stuns enemies by suspending them in time.

PHASE DIVE
Ekko rolls evasively while charging up his Z-Drive. His next attack deals bonus damage and warps reality, teleporting him to his target.

R
CHRONOBREAK
Ekko shatters his timeline, becoming untargetable and rewinding to a more favorable point in time. He returns to whenever he was a few seconds ago, and heals for a percentage of the damage received in that duration. Enemies near his arrival zone take massive damage.

Early game as Ekko you usually want to farm and play safe especially against ranged champs. Ekko is pretty bad early game as he is one of the few scaling assassins. You should look to just farm really. Level 3 you will have a powerspike into mages or any weak early champs like Viktor or Corki. Champions you should never go aggressive on early are champs like Qiyana Zed or Talon as they are insanely strong after level 3. At level 4-5, play passive again if your against a mage, as you're waiting for you 2nd powerspike which is level 6. At level 6 you can start playing aggressive into most champs with the exception of champions that have a powerspike like Talon which will oneshot you with or without ult early. Also at level 6, look for roaming to other lanes or helping your jungler secure objectives like Drake or Herald or even helping them invade! Obviously game too game Ekkos playstyle early varies but this is generally what you should stick with.

Mid game Ekko is when Ekko truly starts to shine. You begin oneshotting mages/adcs which dont have an easy way to escape you. You become very useful at this point in the game too with your W, oneshotting capability and your ultimate as a free get out card. Dont get too cocky though! If their support is good, they will always be protecting their adc so try to play around that, like waiting for their support to engage the fight or to be concentrating on something else. Remember that Ekko teamfight needs to be played smartly and you cant just spam abilities and hope it works which makes Ekko harder than other assassins!

Ekkos late game is very simple in my opinion. One shot their biggest carry and outplay with your ultimate. Now you might be wondering what I mean by outplay, either just use your ultimate to get out or, if their whole team is collapsed ontop of you, w, zhonya and then ult and you will get a ton of damage off for your team. This works really well as a lot of the time, their team will not hear your w while they are collapsed on top of you. Another way to do this is to zhonya then w and ult at the same time and pray that you can get the w stun off and get out.
