Introduction

Hello. Im AfroNinja47 and this is my first build guide. I am currently Gold 5 and have been playing since the beginning of S2 so don't let my rank turn you down. This guide will show how yo play, build, and use Wukong, the Monkey King.

Runes

Runes should be 9 Flat AD marks, 9 Flat Armor seals, 9 Flat Magic Resist glyphs, and 3 Flat AD quints. You can replace the ad marks for armour pen and/or the flat mr glyphs for per level mr how ever this is your personal preference.

Masteries

9-21-0 is how I like it. Because I build so much damage early the masteries really help before you get items, also Mastery Legdary Gaurdian Stacks well with wukongs passive.

Items

Wukong can go full damage or AD off tank either way always rush spirit of the elder lizard and right after black cleaver. For boots if you need tenacity and MR get mercs if not get Tabi. After this I think it's time to go tanky so you can get sunfire cape or randuin's (I prefer sunfire) against AP get a Banshees or Spirt Visage. You should now have 5 items boots, jungle item, Black cleaver, Armor Item, and an MR item. The last item depends on the enemy and waht you need. More damage get Last Whisper or Hydra, Survivabilty get a GA, Armor get the oppisite item I mentioned meaning if you got sunfire get randuin's and vise versa, MR same thing as armor if you got visage get banshees and vise versa or you can get Maw of Malmortius. DONT GO FULL DAMAGE!!! Full damage is just for fun, you will kill people very fast and shred tanks but you will get blown up instantly and lack a tank on your team most likely.

Skill Sequence

Maxing E is best because the armor shred on Q doesn't scale but the attacks speed on E does, also this lets you clear camps EXTREMELY fast. Next Max Q this will give you more damage and you should never max W second. Last max W and take you ULT whenever you can.

Spells

Wukongs Q is an auto attack reset meaning you should for max damage use an auto attack and then immediately after use your Q. W is Wukongs decoy great for engaging undetected or making sick escapes you can even trick people by pressing S (Stop) and make them think you used your clone. Wukongs E is an AOE gap closer that grant wukong bonus attack speed for a short amount of time. Wukongs ult gives him bonus move speed and makes him spin in a circle dealing damage to all enemies near him it also can knock them up but only one time.
