Abilities

*Passive* Double Strike

Double Strike is a useful consistant passive ability that improves your dueling power, farming ability, and tower pushing ability. This provides a nice DPS spike and becomes really scary when you have your E on, applying the true damage twice. This passive will often get overlooked and unnoticed, but it makes you very strong especially when you have items.

=Q= Alpha Stike

Alpha Strike is your bread and butter ability, it is where all of your non autoattack damage come from and where your reset power comes from. Max this ability first every time, because it is your only source of waveclear and what lets you farm your jungle so quickly. This ability can crit for a large amount of bonus damage, and the cooldown is reduced by 70% when you get a kill post 6.

=W= Meditate

Meditate is a really useful heal that can be used in many different situations. Your channel is stopped upon taking hard cc though, and you need to keep that in mind before you use it. This ability is very versatile, its uses range from tanking a last turret shot to waiting for cooldowns in a teamfight to just sustaining while you powerfarm.

=E= WujuStyle

Wuju Style is the unsung hero of your kit, it gives you a free spike in AD and a free active that gives you true damage on hit that mirrors the likes of Irelia. It has no cost and is helpful at killing monsters too.

=R= Highlander

Highlander is what most people know Yi for, the unstoppable and unslowable critting reset god that has crazy attack and movement speed. When Yi got reworked, they made it so that you don't have to activate your ulti to get a reset. Unfortunately, after Yi's most recent nerf, he doesn't get a full reset anymore, only a 70% refresh. This was a pretty big nerf, and you have to play around it. Use this to escape or to chase, or whenever you want to go ham in a teamfight. The most imporant thing about playing Yi is knowing when to go in. Keep that in mind.
