Hello everyone reading this, I'm Redblaze0, a player that mains Brand. In this guide I will show you how to build and play him effectively my way.

Pros of Brand: Strong burst Has many combos within his kit High area of affect damage

Cons of Brand: Weak late game Useless while abilities are on cooldown Abilities are hard to aim/direct

I use magic penetration marks so can do more damage when enemies build magic resist

I use mana regeneration seals so I can regain lost mana

I use cooldown reduction glyphs so I can use my combo over again faster

I use scaling ability power quintessences so I pack a big punch into my burst

Sorcerer's Shoes These are for extra magic penetration Liandry's Torment This has synergy with Brand's passive Hextech Rocketbelt This is very good on Brand because it provides more burst and some mobility Rylai's Crystal Scepter This is so enemies don't escape after Brand has already used his entire combo Rabadon's Deathcap This is so Brand can burst enemy champions down more efficiently Void Staff This is usually my last item because in the late game people might stack some MR

You want to max Pillar of Flame first because it does the most damage and burst of all your abilities which is crucial to your combos. You want to max Conflagration second because it gives consistent and reliable damage. You want to max Sear last because it does unreliable single target damage and is only used to set up the combo.

His passive is Blaze which has Brand's abilities set his target ablaze a ticks down 8% of their maximum health, also when his abilities hit ablaze targets an additional effect is applied. When Brand hits 3 stacks of blaze on a target,matter a short delay they will explode.

His q is Sear which fires out a skill shot nuke fireball but when it hits a target ablaze, it stuns it.

His w is Pillar of Flame which is a ground target ability that after a brief delay, erupts for massive damage but if the targets are ablaze it does 25% more damage.

His e is Conflagration which is a single target ability but if the target is ablaze, conflagration will spread to nearby enemies.

His ultimate is Pyroclasm which is a single target ability where Brand unleashes a giant molten mass that bounces between random enemies but when targets are ablaze, the molten mass will prioritize champions to bounce to.


Brand's single target combo is Conflagration for blaze, then Sear to stun, and finally pillar of flame for massive burst, pyroclasm is optional at the end if you still need to finish them off.

Brand's multi target combo is Sear for blaze, then Conflagration so blaze will spread to everyone, then Pillar of Flame for the burst, and finally Pyroclasm to finish everyone off.

Brand is a mage that has a ton of burst contained in his combinations. His combos will blaze through your opponents health bar and his passive will burn down the rest of it. Whenever Brand has an opportunity to rain fire onto his enemies he will either kill of the squishies, shred through the average ones, or tick down the tanks.

In conclusion, brand is a powerful and fun champion to play if you want to use flames to destroy others. When able to set up his combos he'll burst down anybody who gets lit ablaze by brand.
