Ahri

This match-up favors you hard. She is quite squishy and has a pretty low burst compared to you. Poke at level 3-4 and prepare to kill her when you get your ultimate with the standard combo. Be careful when she uses her Charm, especially when tower-diving.

Akali

Skill match-up. In lane try to keep your distance and farm with E. When she throws down her smoke, drop a pink ward and use E-Q. If she jumps on you, spawn your voidlings too. Be careful at level 6. If she uses her ultimate, fight back. Don't let her roam. If you suspect she is AFK, you can either take down her tower or roam as well.

Alistar

Massive cow(ard). AP Alistar won't have anything else than his knock-up combo. After that, spawn your voidlings and full combo him. He can cancel your ultimate so be careful.

Anivia

This is a nightmare lane. She has a long-lasting stun, and has zoning potential. Her passive will prevent you from getting early kills, or even all kills. Poke her down early and call ganks at levels 3 & 6. Also ward a lot.

Annie

Skill match-up which favors her a lot. Be extremely careful when she has her stun available. Poke with E-W-Q when she tries to come in close to stun. If she uses her ultimate right after you are stunned she will get a free kill (unless you have your voidlings already spawned, then you might have a chance to evenly trade). Be wary of ganks and ask for one at level 6.

Aurelion Sol

Quite a simple lane. Mind you, he builds quite tanky. Be wary of his stun and when he flies in the lane, their jungler might come too. Your Q blocks his passive so try to get close and Q-E-W-R-Ignite when he expands his stars (avoid or bait the stun before applying the kill combo).

Azir

Skill match-up. You rarely meet GOOD Azir players. But when you do you lose (not really, you are reading this guide). His range and zoning potential are massive. He usually keeps his distance so getting close enough to kill him will be in early game. Ask for a gank pre-level 4. Stay clear of his soldiers. When he puts both of them up back-off so he doesn't move them. If you somehow manage to get close enough, either by flashing or by taking him by surprise, Q-E-W-R-Ignite. Spawn your voidlings before engaging so you only have to E-Q-R, giving him less time to run away. He is squishy early and more mana hungry than you early. Take advantage of that.

Blitzcrank

I've seen Blitzcrank AP mid. Yeah, I've seen a lot of lost Ranked games. He will be very annoying. In lane try to dodge his hooks. If he build AP he will be extremely squishy and a simple combo will kill him. Just dodge those hooks and you'll be fine. If he tries to use his ultimate before grabbing you use W-E-Q-R.

Brand

Skill match-up. You will rarely meet GOOD Brand players, and when you do... you... burn? Ah well, dodging his Pillar of Flame is crucial here, and also avoid fighting when you have any Blaze stacks, as he might stun you, allowing the jungle to gank very easily. You might just want to rush a Liandry's after Morellowhatnot and delaying the Rabadon. In teamfights simply unleash your minions and ultimate him, use E-Q after you've completed channeling your ultimate.

Cassiopeia

It's a pretty easy lane. Unlike Brand whose burst damage burns off the charts (get it? Hah.), Cassiopeia relies on landing her poisons right. She will only do that in-range of your Q. If she plays too aggressive, either show her who's the boss or back off, you might have a jungler on your doorstep. She doesn't really get tanky, so minions will chew through her.

Cho'Gath

Another top tank that builds AP on mid. Yes, sounds easy but the damage this guy does is insane. If you get hit by his knock-up you lose a large portion of your health. Let loose of your minions often so you can at least get him low enough to do the full combo. Consider building tanky with Hextech GLP-800 as your first item instead of Morello'sWhateverYourNameWas.

Fizz

Skill match-up which favors him. Predict where he lands with his E, and silence him. If he keeps his E, then you should spare using Q as often. Be careful if he starts his combo with his ultimate. Back / Flash off and combo him yourself or retreat. He has a lot of burst damage, so consider that when going through the enemy's jungle.

Ekko got nerfed pretty heavily lately. His cooldowns are a lot longer. Avoid his Q poke and if he tries anything stupid (like coming close to your massive sacrificial dagger), punish him with some time with the minions. He won't build anything tanky if he's mid, take advantage of that.

Karthus

Hah. Don't laugh. Most Karthus players don't know how to play but when you encounter a GOOD one... Well... His Q has exactly the same range as yours and on an even lower cooldown. Ganks are devastating and he builds very tanky. He will keep his ultimate as an execute so be very careful if you want to stay in lane with less than 400 HP. Also flash-full combo at low HP will result death, due to his passive.

Katarina

Seriously, who even plays with her anymore? Silence her when she tries to ultimate in. Your kit is (almost) fully CC, you counter her hard. If she comes close to AA you to death, let your minions loose. Your E-Q Combo will surely shave off half of her health. Keep your combo in teamfights for her, she can be devastating if she pulls off a carefully timed ultimate.

She massively outranges you, even more than Azir. Her stun is countered by your passive but when it is on cooldown... Well... A good tip here: punish her (that came out wrong) when she comes closer than needed (simple Q, E-Q, E-Q-W-R-Ignite).

Morgana

Squishy, should've gone support. Her stun is countered by your passive, and even when you are stunned, you can still use your abilities. If she comes close to attack, just E-W-Q-Flash-R-Ignite. Instant kill for you. You can build tanky against her. Watch out for ganks.

Ryze

Tanky, tankier, tank. This is how he progresses. Not that he has high damage output that is totally kite-able, his stun is basically a waste because he can't follow-up that good, but the sheer tankiness will make you despair. A full combo will only reduce his health by half. Either ask for a gank at level 6 or just roam. Getting a kill is essential here, otherwise you won't get to kill him.

Ah, poor Yasuo. For him to kill you, he must either: get close (pre-level 6 you should run and unleash your minions), or just poke with his tornado and ultimate you after. His tornadoes are extremely slow and easy to dodge. Poke with an autoattack or even E-Q when he has his shield up. He can cancel your Q damage with it so make sure his shield is down. Instantly back off if he tries to come close. His autoattacks are devastating for you. He can dodge Q casts, so make sure you are going to actually hit him if you cast it.

Zed

Skill match-up. If he engages with his ultimate, Q on yourself then follow up with W-E-R-Ignite. He won't build tanky so he is a free kill, however, if he does, he won't have enough damage. Avoid early autoattack confrontations because he has the upper-hand there due to his massive AD.

Old Talon with a balloon (what?). Rarely meet him these days but he is a force to be reckoned with. His ultimate is just an escape card if you ult. him first. My honest opinion: just stay back and farm. If he engages, just unleash your minions because he's basically screwed blinking behind you.

Skill match-up. Wait for her to use her W then ultimate her back in a fight. She can cancel your ultimate if you're not careful and that will result in a very not-MLG death. She outscales you in late-game so you should only focus her in teamfights. Other than that, avoid her Q poke, which will deal tons of damage. She is extremely weak early-game, so take advantage of that and get fed off her, because in late game she can recover and win a 1v5 easily.

You need to be a bit more careful with this match-up. Avoid ALL level 1-5 confrontations because he is an early game monster and will murder you. Farm with E-W and back off if he tries to jump on you. When you get your ultimate, he will have 2 choices: build more damage (he will fall off at around 30-40 minute mark, but he is an easy kill if you use your full combo) or build tanky (he falls off right then and there, play more aggressive and start poking). His passive will ONLY block turret shots and voidling attacks; take that advantage.

Should be an easy lane for you. Avoid level 1-5 confrontations and ask for a gank. If she tries to get in with her Q, silence her, and if she keeps coming, unleash your minions. Keep poking with E-Q and watch your mana. At level 6, you have 2 choices: back off when she uses her ultimate (she might just tower dive too, insert salty Riven player name here), or you can fully combo her as long as you ambush her or catch her off guard. She will wreak havoc in teamfights so focus her with the ultimate.
