I made this guide of Shaco hybrid coz lots of people was asking for it.Hybrid Shaco is, according to me, the best way to build an omni-purpose Shaco. Every of his spells are useful due to the Ap ratios or AP/AD (for the "E") and the auto attack deals huge damages too.

PROS Amazing ganker. Amazing roamer. Huge damages. Funny to play. Every spells are useful

CONS Squishy Not more damages than an AD Shaco

Wriggle's Lantern This is a classical jungling Item useful for jungling,sustain and to push/depush/backdoor lanes.The free ward is also a nice item.

Mobility Boots The best boots for a jungling Shaco... and from far ! You'll be able to roam like a boss !

Trinity Force Perfect item for Shaco : some AP, some AD, a bit crititical damage ,movement speed, life, attack speed and mana + the 2 useful passives ;) What else ?

Hextech Gunblade Classical item for Hybrid too. The lifesteal bonuses are useful to have more sustain. The active slow is kinda nice too.

Phantom Dancer Nice lil' item too for movement speed , crits and attack speed. Useful passive with the "Q" to escape.

Nashor's Tooth Good item for DPS(and some crits chance;) and for some AP. The passive (CDR) is interesting too.

You can switch your Wriggle's Lantern to a Infinity Edge for huge damages, a Blade of the Ruined King which is more balanced or a Rylai's Crystal Scepter if you wanna get some AP/HP .

So that's it !

Really useful passive which is not tu underestimate, very interesting in jungle, chasing and ganking.


This is THE ganking spell for Shaco.The extra damages coupled to the Backstab are just amazing. Nice too for chasing/escaping.


This ability is the perfect spell for Shaco. It is so useful for the Blue Buff, for ganking, for making traps in bushes, for preventing ganks, for map control, for preventing escape from te ennemies, etc.


This is your main hybrid ability. Really useful for Harass/poke , KS(yes sir), chasing or just doing some damages ! The passive is nice for jungling too.


This ulti is the ultimate brain ulti.You can just bate ennmies in bush , making some "Allah Ouakbah" (suicide missions), backdooring in or kill ennemies in 1v1. The clone's death damages are just awesome, the AP ratio is just crazy.

There are 2 ways to play Shaco in early.

1st (Classic jungling):
Start to stack boxes on the ancient golem at 1:00 and wait until it appears.It will be and really fast and Smiteless. You'll be lvl 2. Then, check your map and if there's a gank opportunity, take your Deceive otherwhise take your Two-Shiv Poison. Then, just continue the wolves(I recommend to smite it) ,the wraiths . Then, take your red by stacking 2 [jack in the box] in front of the lizard elder. Just bate the red with your "E" and he'll be focused by your boxes. Smite it too. Now, you'll be obligated to gank.

There is also another jungling way but this manner is more safe if and more classical for jungle players.

2nd(Counter jungling):
Start with the Blue buff just like the 1st manner and after it, just camp to the ennemy red buff bush(between the red buff camp and the wraiths). Stack some boxes and just catch the jungle(with his blue).Make his red and that's it ;)

After your 1st jungling phase, you must just gank as often as possible, counter-jungling or just harass the mid to provide to your buddies a gold/exp advantage.

Just remind some things to gank succesfully:
1)Never be too greedy, Shaco is very Squishy, especially under tower.
2) Always put 1/2 boxe(s) in a bush before ganking to prevent any escape from the enemy.
3)Watch for your mana , even if you have the blue buff.
4) Never forget to use the Ulti, the Cooldown is really short and it is just sooooo useful.

Now, you'll be able to play correctly the Hybrid Shaco. Try some new things, brains or trolls... but most important: have fun.
