At the late game shyvana will destroy the other team, yet champions who can kite her are gonna be a problem, so try to work with your support, this will make a huge difference.

Jungle

If the other jungler is not an invading jungler then you should avoid doing blue/red in ther first clear.Buy the xp itens and do the jungle clear.
When playing as shyvana you should focus on jungle clearing, do it as fast as you can, there are times when even being far behind in the game you can come back from just farming.
