So, this is my 2nd guide, and in this guide i will show to you my way playing jungle Skarner. Skarner is my main champion with shen and amumu, and i play him because i love the way he can carry his team, and i like tanky ad's. Skarner is really great underrated champion, which isn't played much from last nerf, but i still think he is god tier jungler.

As you can see i use health marks, seal armor, magic resist glyph, and health Quintessence.
I use those runes because they allow me early sustain in jungle, easy and safety jungle, and a lot of health and survivability. Health runes i use just because so AP mages can't burst me so fast, and that other can't kill me so easy. Armor runes are for all jungler, and magic resist so i can gank lanes where are ap's. Instead of health marks you can use attack damage marks but i don't prefer them.

In masteries im going 0/21/9 using armor and Bladed Armor and Runic Affinity for neutral buff duration.

Im playing skarner as a tanky/ad champion, buying many defensive items, because i don't like him the pure ad way. That is my build. For begginig i start with Regrowth Pendant and Health Potion. I use that items so i can stay in jungle for really long, and so i can build regrowth into philosopher stone. When im b i usually have money for philosopher stone, and hearth of gold, and Boots. After i have all 2 gold/5 items, i just gank and farm, because i don't need to go back due to philosopher stone. When im b i try to buy whole Wriggle's Lantern.When im b next time i buy mercury treads and Giant's Belt or Phage (depending what your team needs, if your lanes have and only 1 or 0 CC buy Phage, for easier ganking. After that i buy frozen malet, and after Atma's Impaler for bonus damage and armor, and after i buy Force of Nature for magic resist.

His passive is called innate innate
Using autoattacks against champions lowers the cooldowns of Skarner's abilities by 1 second and by 0.5 seconds when used against non-champion units. Autoattacks on towers won't reduce cooldowns at all.


His q is called crystal slash Shattered Earth
Skarner lashes out, dealing physical damage to all enemies in a small area around him. He charges himself with Crystal Energy for 5 seconds if a unit is struck.

If he casts Crystal Slash again while empowered by Crystal Energy, the ability deals bonus magic damage and slows all targets hit for 2 seconds.

His w is called Crystalline Exoskeleton Seismic Bastion
Skarner receives a shield for up to 6 seconds. While the shield is still active his movement speed and attack speed are boosted.

His e is called Fracture Ixtal's Impact
Skarner summons a blast of crystalline energy in a line which deals magic damage to enemies struck and marks them for 6 seconds. If any marked targets receive further damage from Skarner, or if they die when struck by Fracture, Skarner will consume the mark to heal himself. Subsequent marks consumed and unit kills

His ultimate is called Impale Impale
Skarner suppresses an enemy champion for 1.75 seconds and deals magic damage to it. During this time, Skarner can move freely and will drag his victim around with him. When the effect ends, Skarner's target will be dealt the same amount of magic damage again

For summoner spells i use Flash and Smite. I use Flash for escaping from ugly situations and for that i can land my Impale. I use Smite for killing neutral monsters, and stealing dragon, and baron.

Really fast jungle
Good survivability
Good ganks early game
GREAT ganks late game
He can really carry team

Cons
Not so good counter jungler
Mana reliant

At jungle start at blue, and start with your Shattered Earth. Get a pull and smite him for end. Level your Seismic Bastion and head over wolves and focus big wolf. Go to wraiths and kill the big wraith first. Your smite shouldn't be available yet, so go kill the golems first and after kill the blue buff. Go gank mid/top/bot. In jungle ward dragon, and take it whenever you can, and just FARM AND FARM. When ganking say your teammates you coming and ping them. Start a gank, so you active your Seismic Bastion head over the target attack her active your Shattered Earth and shoot her with Ixtal's Impact. If you have level 6 active your Seismic Bastion and Impale the target pulling her to your teammate.

If you don't have other tank, then you have to start team fight. Active your Seismic Bastion at start of team fight and try to focus their ad carry. Impale their ad carry and try to kill him. When team fighting spam your Shattered Earth and your Ixtal's Impact with activating your Seismic Bastion whenever you can.

I'm not the best LoL or even Skarner player, but i wanted to show you all how much i like him and help you in your future jungling with him.
