You wanna try to not stand near minions, walls, or allies as his stun is very powerful and game changing. Try to poke as much as you can with your q and you should be able to win lane. Watch for his roams and when he gets his meeps, so try to ward deep.

O boy are you boned if you can't dodge skill shots. Try to poke after he uses his q, thats when his abilities can't really do much to you. Avoid his stun and you will be good to go.

Avoid being slowed with your e because and DO NOT ULT WHEN HIS SHIELD IS UP thats really bad for your team and SPAM W.

Try to only poke with q but do not auto attack since his q, e, w combo would out trade you if he pulls it off.

Do not try to really poke level one as her slow is really powerful and will out damage you. Level 4 is when you really want to try to poke her and avoid her tornadoes because they are the definition of you're dead.
Karma
Try to dodge a lot of her empowered q's since her burst is really high but she won't really do much against your w healing later in the game, just last till then and you'll win.

Just poke and DO NOT ULT THE SPELL SHIELDED HER PERSON. Bait out the shield then ult but using e to engage and usually the morganas will spell shield because they are scared of the all in after your E passive hits.

DON'T POKE HER TOO OFTEN EARLY LEVELS, her W damage is too high and that way you lose trades. Try to poke her out of her bubble range and hope for the best.

I started playing this champion back in season 7 and now have almost 350k points on her I started playing Sona when she was in the free champ rotation a while back and since then fell in love with her playstyle. Lich bane is an essential item because it is your main source of damage if you want to be a carry type Sona. You would want sorcerer's boots for extra damage and buy ardent 3rd because of those adcs who keep saying "Sona is going full ap she's trolling please report she's ksing all my kills literally not a support!"
