Yeah, but she's too adorable not to play in a solo lane. (It also doesn't hurt that she's she's got three escapes and a huge shield that make it very hard to gank her successfully.)

Lulu's abilities have high base values because she was designed as a support character. Because of this, she is able to dominate her lane opponents very early on. Though her damage is a bit lackluster in the late game, she is able to make up for that with her high utility team fighting presence as a kiting, shielding monster.



Lich bane synergizes with Lulu's kit very well, especially in lane. Getting this item as fast as possible is important to being successful in the mid game. Lulu only has two damaging spells, so buying a Sheen and getting the a Lich Bane gives lulu the much needed third "spell" for her burst combo. Even putting aside the Spellblade passive, Lich Bane gives lulu every stat that she needs early on (this will be explained in the items section)

As I might have mentioned before, Lulu is a kiting monster. All of her spells make her very hard to gank and very hard to even touch during the laning phase. By buying building Lulu with AD, she is able to continuously damage her opponents while staying safe with her skills. During the late game, she becomes a strong force that is able to put pressure on the enemy tanks and initiators and keep them away from your other carries or shield against poking, so she fits into any team comp.



Lulu kites and chases better than any other champion in the game. Trinity Force gives a huge boost to the kiting power and a significant boost to her damage (this will be explained in the items section).
