Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Pros And Cons
+ Good Farm in Early Game + High Damage + Teamfight Knowledge + Mechanics Are Easy With the correct use of his weapons, Aphelios' outplay potential is big, no matter what's the weapon he's using. |
- Not enough focus on farm in Early Game - Need Many games to learn - Be squishy in Teamfights It's true that you can't learn Aphelios in just one game but he won't be that difficult when you get used to use his weapons correctly. |

Inspiration rune parts are the most common secondary for Aphelios. Magical Footwear gives you free boots with bonus MS at 12:00 min. Takedowns reduce the time Slightly Magical Boots are given. Biscuit Delivery gives you a free consumable item that restores some of your missing HP and Mana. This can happen 3 times only in the Early Game.
This is Aphelios' basic Core Item for CDR and Crit chance in the Early Game. |
This is your next Core Item for increasing Crit chance and hitting multiple enemies simultaneously with 1 basic attack. The only weapon that doesn't apply its Wind's Fury Passive is Crescendum, the Chakram |
This is an ideal continue after your Core Items but it requires Good Early Game. |
Another Defensive Option with Crit chance. |
Another Crit chance Option which requires Late Game advantage. |
This can be an ideal buy for dealing more damage to a target that you chase. |
A Crit chance Option that increases the range of your basic Attack. It can also stack with Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle's Passive. |
This is an ideal finish thanks to its healing and shielding Passive. |
This is your Defensive Option against fed AP enemies. |
This is an item that is often bought as 5th. Aphelios is a champion that can easily die if he has wrong position so it is optional for Bad Early Games and can give you a chance to win a game that you can't win easily. |
Another MR Option and the best choice against CC enemies. If you get to a wrong position and get CC-ed it can help you a lot thanks to its Active ability. |
After you full build, you can build this for increased Life Steal and Spell Vamp. |
Laning Phase
As Aphelios you will start with Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle as your main weapon and Severum, the Scythe Pistol as the off-hand weapon. The question is: Why? Good note. This allows you to farm from extra distance and heal for the HP you lost during farming. That means you should farm using Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle 1st and then use Severum, the Scythe Pistol to restore your HP just like a Top Laner. As you know, most of Bot Lane champions can't trade their enemy laners without at least level 2 so you will have to farm until both of you reach it. After that, you will have your Q unlocked and Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle will almost be empty. Before it gets out of bullets you can also engage from distance by hitting the CC-ed enemy laner with Moonshot or Onslaught and then click on the marked target. After it gets empty you will continue with Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon which is the weapon you should hold for engaging thanks to Binding Eclipse's route. You can also use its Passive to chase your target by slowing them or help your Support CC them easier. As the off-hand weapon you should use it mechanically by using the other weapon's Q. The only weapon that isn't a good synergy with it is Crescendum, the Chakram. That means one of them should get empty so it can have synergies with the other weapon. At level 6 you will get Moonlight Vigil which is good with most weapons except Severum, the Scythe Pistol because it only heals Aphelios for the damage he deals.
Late Game
Before you engage with your team you should always check your weapons and their bullets. Aphelios can also restore all of his missing HP by using R- Moonlight Vigil, Severum to hit multiple enemies simultaneously. If you need more CC, holding Gravitum, the Gravity Cannon for routing the enemy team with Q- Binding Eclipse, hitting them with R- Moonlight Vigil, Gravitum or just using basic attacks to slow them can be ideal. If you need burst damage, the best weapons you will need are Crescendum, the Chakram with its buffed basic attacks and Infernum, the Flamethrower. You can also take out squishy enemies quickly using Severum, the Scythe Pistol's Q- Onslaught from closely. One of the best strategies is that with Calibrum, the Sniper Rifle's marks. If you hit multiple enemies with R- Moonlight Vigil, Calibrum you can deal damage to everyone even if you can't select all of them and you can also use your off-hand weapon for more interactions with your team.
