Aatrox's difficult has skyrocketed prior to his rework & tune ups to his kit. Dark Kamille is more savage than the world ender ever was.
Akali
Akali used to be a tough match. She could outplay Camille several times & resorts to being an annoyance to her all lane. She however, still does not match a full prime Camille.
Camille
If you are to ever face yourself in a mirror, let's hope you're not slow.
Darius
Still, & always will forever be one of Camille's default brutal matchups. Zoning & direct punishment is what Darius does best vs Camille. Dark Kamille has been well trained to eviscerate Darius.
Dr. Mundo
The real problem against Mundo is his tank stats, CC immunity, & unfair healing. You'll likely figure out that its no where easy to kill him, but it is easy to kite him.
Fiora
As a duelist in her own right, Fiora always stays as a formidable opponent in the lane. If you make a mistake, she punishes swiftly. If she does, you punish just the same. If she knows how to hold "Parry", you need to hold "Hookshot" just the same.
Gwen
Gwen is rare to find in top lane. She is an interesting pick against Camille & shares similar zoning traits that Camille does have. She's a tad bit quicker & carries a pair of scissors as a weapon against the walking scissor lady herself. Go figure.
Illaoi
You can best Illaoi pre-lvl 6. However, AFTER that, if she has items & been playing like a blind swordsman in the lane, you'll notice fighting her is futile.
If you do have a lead on damage, pressure short trades on her.
Irelia
She is not as tough as she used to be honestly. I used to struggle against her given that she was too toned up for sometime as a laner. She is played more in mid lane. It is still a skill based matchup where any ability either you or her misses can determine the victor in a duel. You always outscale her.
Jax
For general Camille players, you'd believe Jax to be the most difficult matchup. Veterans will argue that the matchup should become easier each time you face him. His pattern is readable & easy to counter, however his scaling & comeback ratio is overwhelming. Take him down at all cost.
Jayce
A true Jayce player is quite aware of how power Camille is. He however, knows just how much of a powerspike he gains before you & will always bring the pressure in an attempt to heavily snowball the lane. His abilities are fast, so be on alert at all times when trying to trade. He can negate your hookshot & disrupt you from your ultimate with a single knockback.
K'Sante
He is still new in top lane. I've faced only a handful in the season. It is safe to say K'Sante doesn't hold a threat against Camille. Sure he is quite a brawler, but lets be real.....does he know?
Kayle
Kayle is my current ban to reduce the chance of facing champions that transcend even past Camille's late game.
Kled
It is a hit or miss against Kled. I used to play Kled at a point in time in the game & used to play it into Camille matchups. Kled can weirdly find his way out-pressuring & winning the lane. He's unpredictable unmounted & if you don't pay attention to his "Courage" he'll basically get a "Second Wind" type of revive & fight harder.
Malphite
Naturally, Malphite cannot be outright killed because of his kit. It is still basic, bland, & very irritating to deal with. The real focus is farming Gold for Mythic. Bruiser Camille is able to go toe to toe with him.
Mordekaiser
If Mordekaiser can land his abilities on you, you lose. It is a matter of being quick on your feet, & durable enough to take his punishment to kill him.
Nasus
Nasus is treated like Kayle. Its not that he's hard as in a counter to Camille or anything. It is now, if Nasus makes it past 30mins in the game, you may lose if he's freely farming. Since I cannot ban both, Nasus is a risk to take.
Nocturne
Nocturne should be locked in the jungle as he belongs & rightfully deserves to stay. In the top lane against Camille? No please. Let it go. I do not want to talk about it. Just LET IT GO!
Olaf
I love Olaf! He was my primary top laner long before I grabbed hold of Camille! I saw him go into the jungle for sometime, & then he started popping up in top lane. He even got a tune up in his kit?! Ok, I hope I don't see you too much here my guy. Take care!
Ornn
Ornn hasn't been seen lately. He used to be a common top laner in previous seasons. He also used to be a very difficult matchup for Camille as he could consistently out tank Camille's damage so early & bulk up on HP to frontline for his team & render her useless. He's not much of a problem given our new strategies.
Pantheon
Very brutal pre-lvl 6. Pantheon is GOING to fight you alot. The champions that are just reckless fighters are the reason why Dark Kamille was born. He does out-damage you early & has a huge powerspike early. Please be careful.
Poppy
The best part about how I studied the Poppy matchup was the fact that I met pro Poppy main TacticianIX on Twitch & with his skill on Poppy, I learned the ins & outs to trading & zoning. Out-right, Poppy can really OUTPLAY you if you are NOT paying attention. She is a great counter pick nonetheless.
Quinn
She has not been seen recently in my view. However, when I did see her in top lane, the only issue was she was just....annoying. That is all. She kept asking "why Hail of Blades" x3, then was just lost in a trance wondering what the answer is still to this day so the legends say....
Sett
Quite the aggressive brawler. He really doesn't get tired of fighting either. He's very over tuned for no reason honestly. I saw what he can do with Heartsteel on. Just....no. Remove the item from the game now?
Shen
Shen is a formidable adversary. He can support his team looking across the map at anytime. He have to keep close proximity of him to cancel his ultimate. Dueling him can result in a stalemate in lane as his kit is really good at countering Camille's engages.
Sion
The real issue is if the enemy Sion is playing "Suicide Bomber" Sion into your turrets all game. You can't leave him alone. Its a battle of who can rush the base first with him. And he doesn't give a....
Tryndamere
Pre-lvl 6 you cook him. Buriser Camille, you season & devour him. However, don't try this after lvl 6. Its like eating that spicy pepper you knew was going to burn. He's screaming for about 8 seconds straight.
Riven
Riven used to be a hard matchup to Camille. She actually still can be if the Riven is Boxbox level headed. Be VERY carful of emo Riven players. Dark Kamille is their ultimate nightmare.
Rengar
Nice kitty.....nice kitty....HEY CHILL! That's me every few seconds when I see him step in a brush. You'll get what I mean if you see this.
Renekton
Oh this bad gator used to be my main perma ban. He would have stayed permanently banned since his shield break mechanic was introduced. However, I don't see too many in lane like I used to. Dark Kamille handles him well.
Tahm Kench
I'm glad they tweaked him to where he is MUCH easier to deal with in lane. The issue is of course he's just naturally too much of a tank to outright kill in the early levels. You can find yourself farming freely & scaling easy to end rending him useless.
Urgot
Urgot's pre lvl 6 pressure can be underestimated at times. Once he has 6, you must ALWAYS watch your health bar when engaging similar to Darius. If your HP is below 50%, do not bother going for further engages. Slow it down.
Volibear
A Volibear in the lane means he has anger issues. He wants to win. He wants to feel like he's a big bad boss. He'll go AP to show you what busted damage looks like. You like turret diving too huh? Least I can step on your whole turret so it can't save you either. Its weird....
Yorick
Pre lvl 6, Yorick loses. And its almost because he's completely alone. "OH MAIDEN!" Then they both give you the "Now what" stare the whole game. Don't you wish you had personal in-game servants too?
Wukong
The Monkey acts just like a Yi. Fight! Fight! Fight! If he's not fighting in the jungle, he is fighting his demons. Pre lvl 6 is all he will be doing with you & he may just all in anytime after 6. Be prepared.
Gangplank
Just like Shen, Gangplank can support his team with map awareness, & has a kit completely designed for lane dominance. His sense of humor is the greatest thing as it gives a consistent challenge to Camille's. Gangplank can see his victory long before Camille can see hers thoroughly.
Garen
If you want to put Garen & Darius in the same boat, it makes sense. Garen isn't the same as he used to be. He has better stats & a ridiculously easy playstyle. He's the most generic champion in the game still being relevance to this day. Could you believe it?
Warwick
Do NOT challenge this. This matchup is nightmare and equal to Nocturne. You cannot contest with his early damage at ALL. He has to play really stupid for you to win.
Vladimir
You can pressure him down & force his blood pool for a direct engage that can give you many kills. He has to play very safe if he wants to make it to late game.
Amumu
There are several jungler's with crowd control that can strongly assist snowballing in game. Amumu for example, has a direct stun & an AOE stun/root. Camille can chain combos from his engages.
Elise
As soon as she hits a cocoon, JUMP! The burst from you two is strong!
Hecarim
Once Hecarim leads the charge, it is up to you to pick the right targets as they're feared from his ultimate.
Vi
You two share a lore together did you not know? She'll help you keep your head in the game.
Zac
Zac is all about CC! Each ability he lands disrupts champions for free picks!
Sejuani
Much like Hecarim, when Sejuani leads the charge, keep up with her to stun-lock your targets.
Jarvan IV
The two of you can LOCK IN on your targets for SECURED kills!
Poppy
So you two decided to make peace with one another & create a temporary allegiance? You two shouldn't lose.
Udyr
The New Udyr has see himself run and 1v5 a whole team. That is Godyr that made a shocking return to Summoner's Rift....
Kayn
Blue Kayn is cool if he's snowballing & the enemy team is full of squishy carries.
Red Kayn is recommended majority of the time for his frontline in teamfight & CC for Camille to chain combos.
Nunu & Willump
Just make sure your Nunu is not just some kid ok? He can really do well for you & the team if he's directed right. If he knows his own directions, let him lead.
Kha'Zix
Assassins with high snowballing potential are good as long as the player is aware of their champion's limits. Kha'Zix can take a game himself playing well in the JG & the damage you two have can overwhelm targets.
Rammus
Rammus's taunt welcomes a free pick. Let him roll into the enemy team & soak up the damage.
Kindred
A smart Kindred can help you snowball your lane.
Evelynn
Her invisibility makes players have to remember to purchase Control wards. Otherwise, she can always freely gank any lane.
Orianna
When an Orianna attaches her ball onto you, she's going to ping for you to jump right in. Trust her. She believes in you.
Zyra
Zyra is a walking CC support. Completely ideal for team-fighting. Any support that has a full kit of CC further amplifies Camille's usefulness.
Cho'Gath
If a Cho-Gath is mid lane or even JG, remember he's a walking CC Battletank. If he doesn't do poorly early, he will be your team's frontline.
Kennen
Lock your target in with your ult so Kennen can follow up with his ult. Complete chaos for the carries.
Alistar
Alistar's knockup combo gives FREE picks.
Ashe
All it takes is just ONE good arrow....
Blitzcrank
All it takes it just one good pull....
Morgana
Black shield? Good I can dive in without getting blown up with CC. She hits a Q on anyone that's a clear pick. If she jumps in & ults, you jump in too!
Rakan
If the Rakan is smart, he'll know how to set his team up for smooth picks & give you clear & safe engages.
Braum
Braum's stunlock combo with Camille is powerful.
Malzahar
You have Mr. Press R himself on yourself. Be thankful.
Diana
You two alone can actually take a whole game & snap it in half.
Seraphine
As annoying as Seraphine is, she can indeed be very useful when the tables are turned in your favor.
Cassiopeia
She's very powerful at locking down targets for Camille to follow up.
Maokai
Always been a strong frontline. Once he engages, go all in. He is a CC tank after all.
Wukong
A Wukong's all in is one thing to prepare against. Its a great thing to see him rip up the enemy team for you.
Brand
If you can lock the enemy carry in your ultimate, Brand's full combo can be a guaranteed hit.
Senna
The root is Camille's cue to engage.
Lulu
Lulu will always keep the Camille alive. Do not fear death while she is behind you.
Lux
Let's hope your Lux has spent time in the archery training so her marksmanship is legendary.
Leona
Leona is always appreciated for her full CC kit.
Bard
Bard's unique playstyle can bring unprecedent advantages for you.
Nautilus
Any hook he lands = good engage
Any ult he starts = good engage
That is of course in a perfect world.
Pyke
A smart Pyke will show you how to go for the kill & enjoy the spoils for not being wimpy.
Twisted Fate
Twisted Fate provides the team with map awareness. EVERYONE should be thankful for him. Protect him at ALL COST!
Skarner
"NOW I'VE GOT YOU!"
Followed by "AH AH AH!"
Now that's something!
Rell
I wish I could see her more in game. Her kit works well for Camille.
Ahri
Let's hope your Ahri is quite a charming one....
Fiddlesticks
Both of you know how to jump scare quite well.
Sona
Sona's ultimate can be a game changer.
Soraka
Protect your Soraka at all cost. She WILL be focused. If she is foolish, do not bother trying to save her. If she has strong map awareness, she can save you.
Lee Sin
Keep your Lee Sin level headed. A mentally blown Lee Sin will be the death of your team.
Thresh
Similar to Blitzcrank, all it takes is one good pull. But not just that, it also takes one good lantern....
