A little about myself
I'm a support main and my favorite champion is Zyra.
I am currently ranked 33 best zyra in North America and 256 in the world.
(Under Construction) I will be adding an in depth Cheese zyra guide with dark seal after this guide gets 10 upvotes)
Zyra is a support powerhouse currently and is capable of controlling the bot lane momentum and snowballing the lane off of early leads.
I'm sure we have all gone against that one lane where the ADC is garbage and the enemy zyra carries hard. I'm here to teach you how to be that annoyance in the game.

This choice is your go to.
Arcane Comet gives a reliable proc vs electrocute and unless the enemy has sustain (Soraka, Nami, Draven(Since he often builds Deaths Dance or BT first)
Manaflow gives you mana to sustain your poke, without it this tree does not give optimal bust and you will run out of mana. (An alternative option which is mostly used for the Electrocute option is taking biscuit in the inspiration tree as a secondary)
Resolve as a secondary is optimal because Zyra has high base damage and bad survivability.
Inspiration is needed for the electrocute primary due to the need to burst squishes and getting that extra mana from biscuits.
Unless you are invading or trying to cheese with E, Q will always be your optimal choice followed by w. This allows optimal zoning potential so that you can poke levels one and two and setup for a kill when you take e at level 3.
After this you will max your E until further notice. The buff to the E is very good right now and the extra snare time is better than the Q max alternative in every case unless it is nerfed.
Maxing Q second gives you that extra burst that is needed on zyra.

Level one you should focus on procing your Arcane Comet with your Q and autoing minions if your adc is not a stronger pusher so that you can try to get level two first. (Zyra level two is not that great but rushing level two is important in bot lane, whoever gets level two first can zone, cheese, and control the laning phase in many cases)
Level two you will poke with your q-w combo. (try not to push the wave if you can. if you push lane the enemy will get lv 3 first most of the time and lv 3 is the most important level for zyra.
Level 3 on zyra you should setup to burst and potentially get a kill. An easy way to do this is to read the enemy. (As the adc is about to step up to last hit a minion is the perfect opportunity to throw an E. If you time it right this will raise your chance of snaring them by about 80 percent)
At this point it is a rinse and repeat
Tip: If you have more minions than the enemy, if they step up to auto you, give them an auto back. You always want to be trading auto attacks, especially if you have minion advantage.

I'll make a video on this later but there are plenty of videos out there.
Auto attacks even on supports are crucial.
Auto attacks add up and if you walk in and out of the bush and give an auto inbetween your burst or poke you add a significant amount of damage over time. If you get autoed always try to auto back if you are not at risk of an all in to even out the trade.
Your skill shots are also more likely to hit if you are in the brush (use fog of war to your advantage)

Your combo will be:
E-W-Q-W-R
This combo is your burst. Master it, especially being able to place your W before your skills land and placing them properly.
Your ultimate will increas the attack speed of your plants so if you land the snare, they are goners.
If you are afraid of your laners, placing a q-w is good but landing a e-w-q-w is optimal for trading as you want to chunk rather than soft poke.

The final build is pretty standard. If you are going against a heal lane or comp I would suggest rushing morellonomicon as your first core item though (Against: Nasus, Draven, Nami, Soraka, Vlad, Sona, etc). If the enemy does not have a champion that builds or has sustain then you can alternate morellonomicon out completely and replace it with a Deathcap.
