Master Yi
He can easily nuke you with his high attack speed and true damage. Always avoid 1v1s and stick with your teammates. In teamfights you can try to get your passive stacked on him and follow with a stun.
Vayne
She has very high damage but lacks peel. Tahm Kench can function as a second support which works really well with her.

Champion Build Guide
Hi I'm Dopi, a diamond 4 Support main in EUW. I enjoy playing supports in the jungle, mostly Tahm Kench. He's a great Tank with high CC that works well with a lot of characters and can be useful in almost very matchup. Playing Tahm Kench is one of the most fun things, sadly he is having issues in the Support role in anything outside of Pro-League.
What will you learn reading this guide?
In this guide I will show you how to play Tahm Kench and win most of your games. He has a lot of combos that I will explain and after this guide you'll be also able to use some of the tips in the Support role if interested.
Thank you for reading and have fun! ~Dopi

The reason why this is so insanely good is because teamfights happen a lot, especially around drakes and they easily help us use our passive to gain a huge amount of HP. This greatly improves our survivability as any champion and makes us nearly unstoppable in teamfights while also providing a decent amount of armor and magic resist.
+ Very tanky
+ Has high damage
+ Fun to play
+ Offers a lot of utility
+ Complex playstyle that can help you improve overall
+ Can allow for some tricky plays
+ Has High CC
+ Fits into every Team Comp
+ Doesn't get countered by a lot of champs
+ Decent kit sustain
Cons:
- Has close range
- People will sometimes not take your pick seriously
- He can't really hard carry as he is a tank
Passive [An Acquired Taste]:
Passively, Tahm Kench's basic attacks deal 4% of his Max HP. Additionally when he hits an enemy champion, he applies a stack on them. At 3 stacks, his next ability against that same champion has an additional effect.
Tongue Lash [Q]:
Launches his tongue in a direction. When it hits an enemy, it deals damage and slows them for up to 70% for 3 seconds.
If the enemy has 3 stacks, the attack also stuns them for 2 seconds.
Devour [W]:
Eats an enemy and spits them out shortly after to deal damage. This ability can be used on a teammate to temporarily reduce any incoming damage on them. If an enemy champion has 3 stacks, they can be eaten aswell to be carried around by Tahm Kench and be dealt damage to.
Thick Skin [E]:
Tahm Kench passively gains a grey bar that shows the amount of damage he took recently. After a while, he regens a percentage of it. If Thick Skin [E] is activated, that amount turns into a shield that disappears after 2 seconds.
Abyssal Voyage [R]:
Tahm Kench travels to a location on the map. One teammate can be taken with him.
Most useful items:
-[Spirit Visage]: Increases the healing he gains through runes, items and Thick Skin [E]
-[Dead Man's Plate]: Helps him to close gaps between him and an enemy
-[Frozen Heart]: Offers high armor, CDR and Mana
-[Redemption]: Very supportive Item that also offers Health and CDR. Can be used in teamfights to increase sustain.
-[Randuin's Omen]: Offers high health and armor. Passive also helps to deal with ADCS that have crit and helps you to CC enemies with the slow.
-[Warmog's Armor]: Has a lot of health, CDR and good passive for sustain.
-[Righteous Glory]: Helps to close gaps
Personally I love going with CDR as Tahm Kench as it helps me to ult more often and allows for fun plays.
What buff do I start at? A: Always the Red buff.
How do I clear camps? A: When clearing camps, you always want to Devour [W] the largest monster as it does %-HP damage on them.
How do I gank lanes? A: The best way to gank lanes is by ulting to the lane, preferably into a bush near the enemy tower side. When the ult is down, you want to try and Tongue Lash [Q] the enemy for a slow or use Chilling Smite on them.
What do I do during fights? A: You mostly want to take down the enemy carry. If you're looking to peel your own carry, you should stay near them while slowing enemies with your Tongue Lash [Q]. When your carry gets jumped/attacked by someone, Devour [W] your teammate or look to focus down the enemy.
This was my first guide ever and I hope you enjoyed it. In summary, Tahm Kench is a very fun Jungle that can also help you improve your overall gameplay in League, as his playstyle is very complex and offers a lot of options.
If you like playing support but want to try jungle like me, then Tahm Kench is the perfect pick for you. When playing Tahm Kench, try to remember the things mentioned and good luck in your future games!
