Welcome everybody in my guide to Teemo. Almost nobody like this champ as an enemy, almost everone love him as an ally. This champ is not really easy to be played well, but a little bit skill and u will feel his power. Dont think he is small and weak, not with this build. Better to say abouth him: Hybrid Offtank. Most important thing here is that this build gives your teemo ability to do great dmg also in teamfights, not only in bush with your Noxious Trap. It also gives you balanced dmg, half magic and half physical, so nobody can hide behind his armor or magic resist. This build really works well, try it ;)

Pros / Cons

What do i think about teemos pros and cons?

Pros +

+High bonus dmg with his Toxic Shot
+Great map control with his Noxious Trap
+Can counter and shut few champs like Darius completely
+Have so nice skins

Cons -

-Extremely squishy early game, unless you buy your catalyst the protector
-Need to be well farmed, or to be early feed
-Have too short range to fight against AD carry, unless can gap closer with Move Quick and blind Blinding Dart
-May be harrased until he died

It isnt needed to discuss about runes. I won't change my opinion anyway! This runes fit teemo the best in every situation:
Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed for increased attack speed early, and late game. Teemo just need attack speed, as much as possible.
Greater Mark of Magic Penetration for increased magic dmg, every ap need magic penetration, espacially early game.
Greater Seal of Armor for survivability against ad enemies. Works early, mid and late, must have runes on every top.
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist for survivability against ap enemies. Works well especially on mid lane. If you wish, you may change them for Greater Glyph of Attack Speed, but i still think, that MR is a better option.

My standard build may be easily modified, with "other option" items. But, remember to keep high attack speed, or you will lose sense of this guide.

Build's items:

Berserker's Greaves are the best boots for teemo, giving him necessery attack speed. Upgrade them with Enchantment: Furor to be sure u will catch any enemy.

Wit's End gives you high attack speed boost, bonus magic dmg, and little bit MR (stacking into bigger MR while hitting enemies). What can u want more?

Rod of Ages makes your hp bar looks better. It also gives you mana for planting more shrooms, or beeing more spamable, Ability power for more dmg. It also stacks for more health mana and ability power, Great!

Runaan's Hurricane is a must have item! Incredible boost for your attack speed, and one of the greatest passive possible, especially for teemo. You are hitting two others close targets with small dmg. But the most importatntly, this hits applies on hit effects, from your passive Toxic Shot, and passive of Wit's End.

Nashor's Tooth have nice attack speed boost, and also AP for shroom dmg, Cdr 20% allows you to plant much more Noxious Trap.

Rabadon's Deathcap gives you so much ap, that u must have it. Build it mid or lategame for increased Noxious Trap and your other spells dmg.

Blade of the Ruined King is an late game item, which allows you to fight against high-health enemies like Dr. Mundo or Olaf. Put it instead of Wit's End - but buy it last!

Rest of items:

Malady can replace Nashor's Tooth, it gives you some attack speed, and transform 10%of your AP into magic dmg on-hit.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter is a heavy item, gives you HP, AP but the most importantly, slowing enemies. Stack with your Noxious Trap slow, making enemies almost unable to move. May replace Rod of Ages, but then you will be weaker.

Void Staff should be build against heavy MR teams.

build Abyssal Maskinstead of Rabadon's Deathcap or Trinity Force, if u are focused by their AP carry, or just against heavy ap teams.

Zhonya's Hourglass can replace Rabadon's Deathcap, when u are heavily focused. It also gives you nice amount of armor, if their AD carry is feeded.

Frozen Mallet is a great survivability item, it also slow enemies on every hit, making them unable to escape. May replace Rod of Ages.

Zephyr gives you everything you want to: dmg, attack speed, movement speed, and tenacity. And also Cdr 10%, so you can spam your Noxious Trap more often.

Maw of Malmortius is a defensive option, against ap enemies. Shield will save you many times!

Hextech Gunblade gives you dmg, AD and AP.

Farming with Teemo is not a serious problem, we have increased dmg from our Toxic Shot and also some poison. While we are on solo, we can easly get 75% of top's creeps. If it's pushed for you try to do wolves or golems. You can help yourself with Noxious Trap. Try not let your turret hit creeps, you will lose lot of them. When u get Runaan's Hurricane farming will be even easier. Keep in mind that farming is an important thing, ALWAYS! U should have over 300 creeps in 50 min match.

Skill Sequence

While playing on top you will find many different champs, with different gamestyles. Ususally the best strategy is to hit them with your Q Blinding Dart, use your W Move Quick to gap closer and do some dmg with your auto-attack. Back, before blind ends. Spam this cobination as much as you can do it without taking to much dmg. Care about minions, they can deal lot of dmg, especially early game!
Usually, you will lvl up Blinding Dart and Move Quick points one by one.

If fighting against AP, need lvl up your Move Quick instead of Blinding Dart. Be fast, and don't let enemy catch you with his AoE slows stuns etc. Plant your shrooms in strategical points on map.

Make enemies have to go just into Noxious Trap, to have time for escape from ganks. Plant them also on the lane, don't let enemies go on sides. Make them feel they will get into your trap everytime they will leave lane. You should also use your Noxious Trap when enemy try to get closer. It will slow them, and probably deal great dmg. If having Rylai's Crystal Scepter, your Noxious Trap will slow them down even more.

Remember, that Noxious Trap may be used also to ward dragon, baron and also some jungle for exampleblue buff and red buff. You are going to help your jungler a lot! This will also allow your team to gank their jungler, while doing buff.
