dont try to combo this champ, just keep the lanes even. Focus on csing, and push the whole wave when looking to gank. Make sure to be careful roaming because she can easily jump on you when you move through the river.

Champion Build Guide
[*] She can surprise opponents with the amount of burst from her combo
[*] GAME CHANGING WALL
[*] Very fast wave clear!
[*] She can self peel with her W
[*] Her passive SCREAMS roaming potential
[*] GREAT MACRO/Team-fighting kit
[*] ITS TOPH FROM AVATAR The Last Airbender! :)
[*] Mana hungry early game
[*] Her wall can work against her just like a bad Bard ult
[*] Worked ground can make it hard to lane
[*] Opponents can abuse Taliyah easily after her knock up is used
[*] Her late game isn't the strongest compared to some champs like Kassadin
[*] If you miss your combo a lot, you are pretty much useless.
Another good combo is the e>w>q combo. This is mostly used to slow a target that is running away from you.
Lastly, the e>q to a situational w combo. This is used for champions that can dash ONTO you or away from you.
NOTE that your W ability is a VERY IMPORTANT move so do not waste it so arrogantly.
[*] Goals are to keep the waves even against your opponent.
[*] Look to poke opponents while they go for a CS by autoing them or Q, procing Arey and Scorch.
[*] Watch attentively at their mana pool. If low, look to push the wave as quick as possible by a basic combo.
[*] Usually Junglers come around the level 4 or 5 so make sure you ward one of the sides of the mid lane brushes and stick close by.
MID GAME:
I consider having your ultimate is mid game so always look for an oppotunity to gank the side lanes with your ult. It is always better to Far shoot you ultimate than trying to get it alittle closer to the enemy you are ganking. If they burn their summoners, its ok to back off because that is a win for your side.
During the mid game, you should have the two components of ArchAngels, so mana isn't a problem for Taliyah anymore. It is always good to combo the waves at this point forward.
How you should play her during this phase is have the MENTALITY that YOU are the most important player in the team and that if you DIE you are closer and closer to losing the game. So What I mean by this is to look to push waves and take camps and don't try to be the one to start a team-fight UNLESS you know for sure that you are in no harms way if you use your full combo.
So your job is to look for Ultimate trapping opportunities if it is safe, combo opportunities if its safe, and pushing waves from all lanes and taking jungle camps in the safest route possible.
LATE GAME:
Reaching late game, your combo and wall traps is literally game changing so look to combo when you know your teammates are around to back you up.
Keep in mind that Taliyah is NOT A TANK. Don't position yourself in such a way where your opponents can easily catch you. What I usually do is linger near a wall to proc my passive in the back of the lane where I believe the opponents can't see me and look for combo and poking opportunities.
