Veigar Passive Ability

Pros / Cons

Pros:

- He's extremely fun to play.
- He's very powerful late game.
- No one expects so much burst from such a small guy.
- Doesn't need blue buff with Tear Of The Goddess.
- Has got a AOE stun that's very useful in teamfights.
- His abilities stack very well with AP.
- Doesn't need to poke before engaging for the kill.(Because of his masive burst)
- His Baleful Strike has got a short cooldown.

Cons:

- He's very squishy.
- Needs the right positioning to not get caught.
- Long cooldowns on every skill except his Baleful StrikeBaleful Strike.
- Very weak if it's not 1v1.(Asuming your team isn't there.)
- Weak against stuns because you can't use your combo, which is your trademark, and against high burst because you're squishy.
- Weak against champions with gap closers.(Fizz, Talon, Akali)

Summary

It's kinda hard to play Veigar and if you can't get your combos right, or stay behind your team and not get caught, you probably won't be a successful Veigar player. For an OP burst combo that's almost sure to hit, do it in the following order, Event Horizon, Dark Matter,Deathfire Grasp, Baleful Strike, Primordial Burst.

Unique Skills

Veigar is a very unique character because of his burst, he's pretty much the only character with that much burst. On the other hand if he gets caught alone by 2 or 3 other players with CC, he'll have a hard time getting away.

Team Work

In a team fight Veigar should stay behind his team and spam his spells. When focusing a target be sure to stay behind your team and focus the ADC if possible, if their ADC isn't fed and doesn't do that much damage focus the one with the most damage.

Farming

When farming with Veigar be sure to use Baleful Strike to last hit as much as possible. Your Baleful Strike can give you a lot of AP if you have farmed with it correctly, it's pretty normal to get at least +100AP from it. Also remember that your final AP depends on how much you have farmed with your Baleful Strike.
