Introduction

Before i say anything i just want to state this is my second build and making these builds made me realize that it takes quite an amount of work and a minimum of nearly one to two hours to make a good guide so thanks to all the guide makers out there doing thorough guides.
FYI i am going to be making a lot of these guides purely from my ipod and if any guide makers want to know how to do this on their ipod/iphone/ipad/tablet etc i'll make a guide on it just leave a comment or message.

Hello guys this is my 2nd guide and this is going to be on twisted treeline like my last one which was on trundle. But this is about soraka :).

First i'd like to say soraka is highly highly underestimated in 3v3 with the right build you can wreck almost anyone.

Also i'm going to be making a lot of guides for champions on maps that don't have guides (i.e a guide on jayce for 3v3)

Anyways leave a comment and give me some feedback on what i can do to improve my builds this is only my second build so sorry in advance if anyone finds this build interface setup is hard to use.

Champion abilities

consecration i like this because its good against heavy AP teams and is especially a big counter to fiddlesticks passive which reduces magic resist.

Starcall good aoe damage i max this second or if my team needs heals i max it last

Astral Blessing its nice for healing your team i max this second if my team needs heals and last if they don't

Infuse i always always max this first because it gives your allies mana so they can keep pokong and you can poke enemy champs without worry because it silences them and best of all it costs no mana! This is going to be your main source of damage for this build.

Wish this is amazing in team fights put poonts in this at level 6/11/16 also FYI do not use thise too early in a fight or else your entire team wont get the benefit also if your about to die and your team is off somewhere else do not use it if you know you can't escape save it for your team. Consider them too.

Synergies/counters

synergies
+Works well with melee DPS because of bonus armor from blessing

+Works well with champions like Fiddlesticks because of her magic resist debuff on Starcall

+Strong against enemies that rely on follow up Lee Sin abilities because of silence
countered by
-Enemies with lots of range
-tanky AD champions with sustain (i.e shen)
-champions with large amounts of armor penetration (i.e jarvan iv)

Masteries explained

This is probably a big important part of the build
Alot of you might wonder why the F#%* would you go down the defensive tree
I did that because lets face facts soraka is just squishy and the defensive tree is what i use to help me out
IMPORTANTyou can go down the offensive tree if you want but i go defensive because a lot of people just go "oh hey its soraka lets focus her shes squishy" so that if i do get focused i have a good chance to live especially in the early game.

Put 4 points in Durability so that your a little beefy late game
Put 1 points in Summoner's Wrath so that you can get the buff on Ghost and Ignite
Put points in Tenacious and Relentless so you can escape enmy cc if your focused.
And put a poont in Veteran's Scars so your not as squisht at level 1

Rune

I like to have these runes:

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration more damage of course

Greater Seal of Armor so AD champs dont burst you down early game

Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist good against ap casters but you can take Greater Glyph of Ability Power of you feel line you need more damage to start with

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed this is just a must have in my opinion because soraka doesn't move very fast and if your moving like a slug you'll die but for thise uber pros you can go with Greater Quintessence of Ability Power

Summoner spells explained

I'll be downright honest with you i really don't like Flash as much as Ghost
Thats my opinion now flash is extremely good to use but on twosted treeline i don't like it since the map is so smalle and if you flash a wall its not that hard to get to thw other side.

That's why i take Ghost it helps me catch up to enemies and run away and when they flash im still running strong.

Ignite just a must for almost any champion. And good against enemies with high sustain.

Barrier the forbidden spell :) you can take it if you like but i really prefer ghost and ignite over it.

Items

kages lucky pick i like to start with this because of the gold over time and it gives some ap

Rylai's Crystal Scepter this is good for slows especially when combined with starcall to slow a group of enemies coming at you.

Frozen Heart its nice for late game against a heavy attack damage team.

Blackfire Torch this is extremely strong with your infuse because it silences the enemy deals more damage and it costs no mana plus it can nuke a team when you spam starcall.

Sorcerer's Shoes great item you can swap it out for [[boots of lucidity if your not going to build frozen heart

Wooglet's Witchcap its simply amazing counter to an enemy team attempting to focus you
Vecause of he large amount of armor and because its active makes you invincible its a must have.

SITUATIONAL ITEMS

Void Staff build this if the enemy is stacking magic resist hard

Abyssal Mask this is great when you have fiddlesticks on your team pluse it helps if you have heavy AP on your team

Rod of Ages this is amazing if you want to get a little tankier FYI if your going to build this have it done by mid game so you can have all your stacks on it

Will of the Ancients i build this when my team has lots of magic damage and needs some sustain.

Summary

Soraka is an amazing champion that can fill many roles she's an amazing caster that too many people underestimate. And she can destroy a lot of champions late game.
