Q, and later on this will become your finishing shot if they are close. Early on, you want to use this to farm minions, by getting the caster minions low then chaining that through them, getting all of the gold. You then auto the warrior minions to death, doing your best to last-hit them. When it comes to canon minions, you want to auto them then
Q them once they are low. When it comes to Jhin's
W, you do not EVER want to use it as a poke (unless you know it will kill the target). It deals low damage, but does have pretty ridiculous range, and will root the target if they have been recently hit by an ability or auto attack from an ally. !!this is not quite all true, if you take poke runes this is going to be your bread-and-butter!! So you want to have your support initiate with either an auto or an ability, then lock them down with your
W. After this, try tossing a
Q in their face, then auto as many times as you can. If they are half-health or below, then you can use your
Ult and likely kill them. If you do not have
Coup de Grace, then make that threshold 1/3 max health. There is not much else to do with your
W, but it can be used in times that you are low but can not leave lane to put in some damage. As for
E, it is a trap. It can be somewhat awkward, but also incredibly destructive. It has some of the highest damage in his kit if you choose to lay low. However, early on in the game, it is not a very good ability. For placement, you can use it to make the river an impassible wall, or you can place them where your enemy ADC or Support are commonly walking through. It gives you vision of all enemies in its circle, and explodes for (possibly) extreme damage after a short period of time.
Ultimate is one of the strongest in the game. To give a quick description: it is an extremely long range set of auto attacks that can be fired in a cone in the chosen direction. In some more detail, it deals execute damage (damaged based on missing health), and acts similarly to auto attacks. The fourth shot infinty edgecrits, dealing incredibly increased damage. This crit strike is treated as a normal crit, and has the increased damage from the infinty edgeInfinity Edge. Each shot has a base damage of (first upgrade) 50, (second upgrade) 125, (third upgrade) 200, plus 20% Total Attack Damage. It looks to have more range than it actually does when you hover over it and look at the map.
Fleet Footwork because it gives you another boost of movement speed, making it very easy to give chase. You really can use pretty much any keystone you want on
crit strike chance.
Jhin, and it may not be the single most in-depth, but should give you enough insight to get to a good start with And remember...
This...is your curtain call.
