The top lane destroyer, Lillia

By ChocoChurro
Just Lillia.

Because she is actually a brawler with an awesome kit.

I think a lot of players has been sleeping (ironic, isn't it?) at how good actually Lillia is, maybe because of the Yone leaks and cinematics that took all the Lillia "hype" (if it has ever been some hype about her), and how even with all the CC she still is a brave girl who CAN fight... with her stick.

Quoted:
How can I tip-top when I don't have toes?

She has an E that can go almost infinite on the map until it hits something, and if it's an unit it will slow it and mark it with her passive. That makes her great to get assistances even when she's in top lane if the skill is well-calculated. It also allows her to keep track of the enemy jungler or get closer to her laner and force trades, as she's very good in clean trades where she has a range advantage because of her AA's, her Q's range, short cooldown and passive. The E not only helps on this and to sleep and enemy that is far away, but to hit with the center of the W that is what most magic damage deals within all ker kit, especially when combined with her R. Her constant True Damage and her magic DPS passive makes her one of the strongets picks against tanks, that are very popular in the top lane and as they normally don't have movility, she just makes them remain still with no other option than to fight. She's also a great skillshot dodger because of her stacking MS, with allows her to be constantly attacking while evading damage: that's VERY important because of her low tankiness.

Quoted:
Wake up, wake up... eep.

Okay, I know what I just said, but Lillia may be what some of the players see her: a high burst AP champion. She can be a brawler, she can be an assassin too. She'll definitely not be an Akali in top, but she has her ways to do this.

Quoted:
Mother Tree is dying...

Welp, she may be dying, so you must still collect dreams for her... and for that, you shouldn't die, should you?
She can be a weird hybrid between a brawler and a tank: yeah, I know Shen, Darius and Garen exists and those are basically that, but Lillia's game style is different, because the funny thing on playing her as a tank is to anulate her fragility and to enter in a teamfight, R everyone as you could resist to hit everyone with your Q, and then beat the f*ck up of them with your Q's true damage along your R's damage at the same time you recover heal. It's pretty awesome if you ask.

Now, which Lillia of this guide is the best?

I wouldn't say there's a better Lillia than other, I would say that there's a Lillia for every player. I've been playing LoL for little more than a year, and since the beginning of this season I've been a top main, but lately I've been giving up on this game because of how toxic the community can get and how bad my internet goes because of the quarantine, but I gave it another opportunity just two days ago and, wow, it may be something personal but Lillia gave me back the fun I usually had playing this game, and she motivates me to keep playing and main her. She's not only beatiful in the same way than Poppy, but she's also so fun to play and makes some interesting plays.
Give her an opportunity, you'll not regret it.

Basic Lillia combos.

While I start all my lane trades with some AA at the distance before they can get to me, but sometimes you'll have to just start trading with your abilities.
Here are some basic combos to Lillia.

No R combo.

Q + E + W + AA + Q

This is one of the cleanest and easiest combos you can make. Maybe it won't be so easy on the first minutes of the game, as she still doesn't have such a low CD on her Q, but in few time you should be able to get it.
Advise: You can partially cancel theE animation with your W. Just practice it and your enemy'll not even see you hit him with both your abilities.

R trade laning combo.

Q + E + AA +R + AA + Q W + Q + AA

You'll save your W to make MAX damage with the center of it when your enemy is asleep. Remember: the center of the W makes 200% more Magic Damage than the rest of the ability, and thst combined with the damage Lillia makes to asleep enemies will just explode them. The attacks before the W are because it'll pass 1,5 seconds until the enemy is asleep and he'll be slowed down before that, so you can easily keep dealing damage to them before having to use your W. Because of this, it's also possible to use your E before your Q, to maximize the slow and allowing your jungle to have easier ganks.
Advise:Asleep enemies'll be not wake up by persistant damage like the one Ignite, Redention or your own passive makes if they are triggered before the sleep, so don't be afraid to use them if you have them. Minion damage'll not wake up them neither, so you can fearlessly use this combo between waves.

R combo in teamfights.

Okay, this is similar to the previous combo, but also a little different. You'll not have the same freedom to AA between skills and as you can't be a frontlane unless you are feeded and confident you'll survive this, you should always start your teamfights with an E.
E + Q
You first do this to get into the teamfight and deal damage to the most champions as possible. Then, you and retreat, only to get back when they are asleep so you hit the squishiest one with your W and then Q the f*ck out of everyone, dealing a great amount of magic and true damage in just few seconds.
Advise: As I said, if you're feeded and confident you'll survive the frontlane, you can stay in the teamfight without retreating for a very short time and keep dealing damage and stacking Conqueror. Just try to correctly calculate your cooldowns so you won't lose the combo.

There are some Lillia tips that may help you surprise your opponents or help you understand better the champion.

Lillia is a ranged champion. Every champion that has an AA range larger than 300 is considered ranged: Lillia has 325 units of AA range. So beware of Kayn, he'll get blue passive stacks from attacking you.
You can partially cancel E animation with both her Q and W.
You can Q + Flash to surprise your enemy and lasthit them: just immediately after you start your Q animation, Flash and the damage will be dealt where you just blinked.
Lillia is about dealing damage while moving with the stacks of your Q passive. Take advantage of this to avoid skillshots while attacking and desgasting them with your normal passive.
Lillia not only can use her Q passive to chase down enemies, but also to escape. When you have to escape, you can use your E to slow down your enemies while also spamming your Q. Remember: to get this passive stacked, you have to actually hit at least some minions or mosnters, so it'll be useless to spam Q if there's nothing near you. You can also choose to use your W to attack enemies while fleeing and get stacks or to use it to purely scape, as she makes a 150 units rush, which also helps her to escape.
Lillia is one of the most efficient anti-tanks on the game because of her normal passive and her constant True Damage. If they build Armor and Resistance your Q'll get pass through it and if they build Health, you'll just deal them more damage with your nomal Passive. Even if it hasn't the same survibility, it's easier than Sett, so it's a safe pick when the enemy top is a Malphite, a Chogath or an Ornn.
Save your W's mana, do not waste it on minions. It deals 50% reduced damage on them.
Procure to always being able to farm, even at some distance with your Q. Rod of Ages is your core item and you should get it as soon as possible. Until you have it, do NOT buy anything that has nothing to do with it (apart of the starter items, of course).
Your E does have a small damage area after it hits someone. If you hit a minion and with the after-effect a champion, you'll acquire 4 Conqueror stacks.
