Welcome to the voligod top lane guide. As a Volibear main, I have perfected the ways of the Voligod.

I have run those runes so you get a good bit of armor, mr and attack damage, as well as getting that early attack speed to get your Bite as soon as possible as well as making your ult as good as it can be.

I don't remember making these masteries but they seem to work so.

So now, items. If you're fighting an ad champion, get a Sunfire cape first. If you are facing an ap champ, get Spirit Visage. Even if the other team has no ap, get a Spirit Visage for your passive to be buffed. I try getting as much heath as possible so my bite has as much damage as it can because it scales with hp. The best items to get would be Sunfire cape, and Warmogs armor.

I'm running this skill sequence for top lane only. If you are in the jungle I do not know what the skill sequence would be. Though I assume that it would be maxing the e and w first. The skills I have here are so you can initiate easy, do a lot of damage, and be able to get out alive. Use q, get close enough to e them, flip them, do a ****-ton of damage, then bite when they are going to get away for max damage.

Ignite is for getting damage off in early trades and possibly securing them, and Teleport is for backing to get hp and items and being back to lane fast.

Last hit. Try to keep your w stacked for easy farm because of the attack speed.

For teamwork, You peel for your other carries. If you are the carry, then focus theirs. With your ult you will be doing damage to everyone else in the area. Your flip is good for keeping enemies contained and your e is good for them slows.
