Miss Fortune is a threat on lane. Due to her high base damage. Be mindful of the Q ricochets as they deal massive damage. She loves to short trade and poke, you've got to preserve your health until you get an opportunity to all in. She outranges you although slightly with her 550 range compared to your 525. You scale better than her so when late game comes if her ultimate is avoided and she is not overfed you could easily win against her.
Ashe
Ashe is difficult to play against due to her enormous range of 600. With her passive slowing you and her having enormous range advantage she's got the upper hand in lane, until you gap close her. Only all-in playstyle applies vs Ashe, do not let her chunk your HP on lane. Short trades can result in your death due to her passive + approach velocity combo. If you manage to gap close her you definitely win. In terms of scaling you've got the upper hand.
Draven
Draven is one of your most difficult matchups. He has extremely high damage on lane and can snowball really hard. Avoid trading, play safe and wait for a gank or CC to be casted on him before hand. If you manage to go even in lane, you will definitely be stronger late game. In lane it is extremely important to respect Draven's damage, he will often look to short trade with W>AA>AA. If you get inside his range you will have to flash most likely as his E has the same range as his auto and slows enemies that get hit. If he remains without an active Q on both his axes that is your sign to fight, however make sure his Q is down as well as sometimes they will try and bait you to go in and then cast it.
Tristana
Tristana is another matchup you ideally would like to avoid. As she scales very well and can be a significant threat on lane. Be mindful of her all-in, however do not hesitate to short trade as here you do have the upper hand. If you avoid exposing yourself when she's has lots of HP you are the winner. If you keep her chunked on lane she becomes clawless. Late game you are equals so the lane will dictate who has the power later on.
Samira
Here the concept is almost the same as Draven. However if you avoid her all in on lane, you can definitely look to short trade. You scale better, going even in lane is basically a won game in this matchup. However on lane she can be a menace, I'd suggest to stay behind minions while quick trading for best results.
Lucian
Lucian can be hard to deal with but he is not a matchup impossible to win. He is going to look for short trades the entire lane. Remain passive and keep your health bar high, only look to fight when there is an opportunity to all in. If his E is down and you've got engage support you can all in him on lane, as you will definitely win. However being aware of his short trades and playing safe to avoid them might cost you a few minions, it's worth it as you will out scale him without a doubt.
Caitlyn
Caitlyn has huge range, however she is extremely volatile once you gap close. Her goal will be to chunk you to deny you the possibility of all in. When going for the all in be mindful of her E>Q or E>W>Q combo as she is going to look to diminish your health bar as you are closing in. If her E is down you can try to gap close with yours. Late game she is a walking target if she didn't win lane hard. However her pressure on lane is not to be underestimated as she has really high damage early and she is in the lead with 125 range. You have to avoid being pushed under tower as when that happens you won't have a chance to all in as her poke is guaranteed while you try to farm.
Senna
Senna is really weak early game, on a successful all in you are definitely winning. Short trades would work as well as her healing is relatively low early. The only danger is past minute 25-30 if she went even in lane which is next to impossible in most cases. Her W and E allow her an easy disengage, if she hits you with W she would be able to short trade for free with AA>Q>AA. The good news for you are that both abilities got really big cooldowns. Her range still remains higher so be aware of the potential to be auto harassed and then she goes into the bushes to avoid your and minion agro.
Smolder
Smolder is really weak early game, on a successful all in you are definitely winning. Short trades would work as well as his damage output is really low early. The only danger is once he hits full stacks for his passive. Even then you've got the invisibility from E and ult shield to be able to kill him. The only way to lose against him is to lose lane really hard which is highly unlikely considering how weak he is early.
Vayne
Vayne is a matchup that you'd be able to win on lane without a problem of which type of trading pattern you choose. You are going to out damage her early any time. She has incredibly bad short trades consisting of Q>AA. If she comes too close you can all in her, just avoid walls as her E stun can turn things around. Late game you are on even grounds and all is left to skill. Good news for you is that your Q will hit even if she goes invisible as long as she was in range when the ability was casted. Assure to keep your HP high for all in, avoid her Q>AA short trades and that will be your game. Try to get the advantage in lane as later on it will be all down to mechanics you both scale equally well.
Jinx
Jinx has great scaling that's true, but on lane it is your kingdom. The rockets give her the range advantage, but once you get in close she is finished. Keep high health against her. You've got the upper hand even in short trades as long as she does not hit W on you. However preferably you'd want to all in and get some free kills, If you win lane the chances of losing the game are slim as you become enormously strong mid game, which would mean that she can never get to late game. However if you are even in lane that is not too bad as well, as long as you do not fall behind you've always got the upper hand. She might have amazing damage late game, but once you grab a hold of her you can win. Her W reveals your E invisibility if she hits, However as long as you are not too far behind and can dodge her W she is all yours.
Xayah
Xayah has superb self peel tool as her ult. However she is really reliant on her E to hit to be able to trade effectively. Make sure to avoid her E root at all cost, if that is down you win. On lane you are equals, however is she misses E you are going to win hard. The scaling is similar however if you win lane you can win late as well. Same concept applies trough out the entire game avoid her E. Keep your ult and E to do that so you can have easier time.
Zeri
Zeri has an incredible scaling, however on lane she's at your mercy. Her only chance for an even trade is a short trade where she hits W. The projectile can be blocked by minions, however the beam hits everything in it's path. Win on lane is guaranteed for you and you win the game almost all the time, except if you lost lane hard.
Aphelios
Aphelios has only AA on level 1, so level 2 priority is a no brainer. He is going to look for poke with his green gun to get you low on health, as he knows you've got the stronger all in. Preserve your health and all in him. He out scales really hard late, so you should make sure you win lane, even going even against him could prove fatal at a certain point. Good news is that even in the mid game you are still stronger as long as he does not have a perfect weapon combination. (Green/Red + White, Green + Purple)
Corki
Corki is pretty even matchup. On lane there is contest between you only if you get hit by his Q. Mid game is still slightly in your favor due to the evolves of abilities. However later on Corki dishes insane amount of damage with a self peel ability. It'd be mostly skill related but if you go even in lane you are looking for a world of hurt late game. All in on lane only if you dodge Q and do not tank the entire E, keep spacing to avoid as much E damage as possible, if he tries to turn on you, but be sure not to forget to auto even if you face tank the entire E on lane you should still win the fight, however it'd be best to minimize bad habits.
Yunara
Yunara has strong scaling, and the tools to survive lane phase. The problem with her is that you cannot easily get a good all in or a trade. Wait for her to use W and then you can try to gap close. If her W is up do not bother to try an all in as she can use it to slow you and kite out. Mid game you are definitely stronger than her if you are on equal terms after lane, however if you lose lane. You are going to lose the game too. Late game after an even lane you've got some chances, but do not count on it. Only guaranteed way is to secure all in's for yourself during lane and get ahead from early, to be able to snowball.
Varus
Varus is a huge threat on lane and trough out the entire game. With his lethality build you stand low to no chance, you are looking to survive lane and get to mid/late game. Gap closing him can be a guaranteed kill as long as Q and R are not up or you dodge them. On lane he will spam Q with comet keeping you on low health, you have to avoid that, even at the cost of some farm. All in can be tricky to setup but once he is caught, he is yours. Just make sure to dodge the Q on your way in as it will do significant damage early with comet, not to mention W stacks. Ambush tactics can work against him but make sure they do not cost you a recall or that they aren't too greedy. As if you die on lane he can snowball really hard.
Ezreal
Ezreal has his E to peel for himself and the range, but thankfully his most important ability is a projectile, yes I am talking about the Q. On lane you have the upper hand as long as he has no passive stacks or wave advantage, short trades will go in his favor due to Press The Attack, however stay behind minions to avoid the Q poke and keep your HP high. All in on him will be a free kill, especially if you dodge his Q. You scale equally well, however early and mid game you are stronger until he stacks Muramana. Even when he does as long as you are mindful of his Q he will be a sitting duck as his entire kit revolves around it. If he wins lane you still got a chance until his Manamune gets stacked, after that it's his name. But as long as you do not lose on lane it's your game to win. Winning lane of course is your birthright as Kai'Sa in this matchup.
Sivir
Sivir has the wave clear but all her damage on lane comes from her Q. In all out battle you are the victor, your passive got the upper hand. Keep in mind that it still be best if you look to dodge the Q before you commit. Short trades you will win as long as you do not get hit by the Q both times. Even in lane means win for you, as well, although you shouldn't have hard time winning. Level 2 priority will depend on the support champions but generally you can contest due to being way stronger than her on lane. Late game you have to make certain not to be in her hit range if she was winner in lane. It'd be best no matter what the outcome of the lane to focus her or at least try to avoid getting hit by her while you melt down her team.
Nilah
Nilah got the scaling but she has a fatal flow in lane and that is the really low range. You should capitalize on that level 1 and get her chunked. In lane you generally have the upper hand, as long as you avoid trading when W is casted. That's her only fighting chance so you can pretend to all in to bait it and then leave. Mid game if she had the luck to survive lane things become a bit better but you are still in the lead due to being able to space her with your E evolve and R. Once she's got no gap close abilities and W you can massacre her. Save your E to space hers or get out of her ult. Late game due to her W she's got the upper chance however in many games you won't get to that point.
Kalista
Kalista has strong early game but she is not a real thread to you. You can beat her in short trades. After you chunk her a little you will win the all in as well. The only way for Kalista to win the game is to hard stomp on lane, so remember even lane is a won game. Won lane is basically a domination. Mid game onwards the show is yours, after evolving your abilities you've got no chance to lose against her. On lane I'd suggest stay behind minions(make sure they aren't low health as Q can pierce) to avoid her Q as long as she does not hit that and you respect her all in potential the game is yours.
Twitch
Twitch is the least of your worries to be honest. The only thing you need to remember in the matchup is to respect his Q as it gives him a lot of attack speed and advantage as he will be able to chunk you before you realize it. Once you see him, you win it. Your W reveals him and your Q can hit him even if he is invisible. He will be paired with Lulu/Yuumi most of the times so avoid short trades as they could shield and that is auto lost trade. However once you catch him and all in he will lose 100% of the time if you are on equal health. You want to punish him in lane and if you do successfully he won't exist in the game. However if you lose lane to him, there is a chance for him to carry with his pocket Lulu/Yuumi as his scaling remains strong.
Ziggs
Ziggs is bothersome but not impossible to win against. His game plan will be to keep you chunked on lane as his volatility is an all in. Be aware of those Q's. If you manage to keep high health and decide to all in you should be aware of his W that could disengage the fight, However once his W is dodged/missed he is done for. You out damage him up close and in the mid game also. You've got the tools to dodge his abilities as well. You must avoid being pushed under tower as that is the best place for his game plan due to having limited area to dodge and choke points. Even lane here means you keep your relevance but you do not out scale him. However you should avoid hard losing lane at all cost as his snowball can be insane. Late game he can one shot if you don't pay attention. However his weakness remains the same, it'd be easier after lane to do so with your ult, however after that you've got his W to dodge for the kill to be secured.
Rell
Make sure to use your W while they are in CC. Don't Ult hastily to follow engages, ***es area first before you ult in. Many people tunnel vision and instantly ult, stay in behind Rell and don't be afraid to hit. Be mindful of CC abilities while fighting, because after she engages enemies might try to turn on you. Wait for the key abilities first and then all in. Avoid poke she needs you to be high on HP to go in. There is good kill potential in lane but this support shines a lot in team fights with her mass CC allowing her to round up the entire enemy team in one go. Preferably stick to front to back team fight in behind her. Diving on enemy backline if they are locked in Rell CC is great as you can almost always kill them fast enough if you are not too far behind.
Nautilus
Play on the same line with Nautilus. Do not stay too far back as his every hook is a potential kill, be sure to wait for his CC before throwing abilities as they are guaranteed hit. Same concept as Rell, be aware of key abilities so enemies cannot turn on you. Superb synergy between your ultimates, if he manages to ult the enemy ADC/MID and there are no other threads in team fight you can ult it and get a free kill. Front to back team fighting. If the Naut misses hook and he starts getting harassed make sure you return some of the damage they are dealing him. Hook is an important bit of his kit but even if he misses stay close, passive proc or ult can also deliver enough CC to be able to get a free kill. Generally if the hook is down avoid fights unless enemy bot/team has no threatening abilities. Avoid poke, he needs you to be high on HP to go in. Focused on early game pressure with a lot of potential to get you plenty of kills in lane. Still highly relevant late game due to his ult.
Blitzcrank
Blitzcrank's hook is an amazing tool on lane as you are by far one of the strongest ADC's on lane. What makes Blitzcrank good is that he can give you lots of opportunities for isolated Q's. However he does lack a bit in peeling and when his hook is down he is a sitting duck. You are gonna have to use your ult mainly to peel for yourself. Play off his hooks, if his hook is down it is a bad time to fight. If he gets harassed after missing the hook, make sure you dish out damage in return to the enemy bot lane to keep the game relevant. He is focused on kill pressure in lane and playing picks. He can team fight but he is not as relevant as the other supports in this list, lacks the CC for team fights.
Rakan
Rakan is a perfect match due to him being able to both peel and engage. Here it is core to be on the look out for his W engage. All-in's are good on lane into squishier supports, you can do all in's into supps like Nautilus or Rell also, but their key abilities need to be down. With all his peeling tools you can do riskier ults to the back line or to gap close fights. Allowing you freedom in your playstyle. Just keep in mind when his W is down, you've got no chance to win a fight so just trade back damage if they harass him. Avoid poke, although he can heal or shield some of it he needs you to be high on HP to go in. Diving on enemy backline if they are isolated is great idea with Rakan as he can peel you out and allow you to remain team fight relevant.
Neeko
Not the best pair but still relevant. Provides good poke to be able to keep lane control, but you need to let her poke and do short trades. When she gets her ult, that is the game changer. Giving you plenty of time to dish damage and also doing a fair chunk herself. She may lack heals and shields. But she compensates with strong lane presence. Kills mostly fall late game after her engages, but you will have good time on lane together as she has incredible poke damage. Mostly relevant for picks, however she has strong team fighting with her Flash + R combo.
Thresh
Thresh is also an option with Kai'Sa although I don't consider him really good fit, He does provide some peel and CC, but due to low CC amount and only lantern for the peel there are better fits. Avoid diving back line when paired with him if you cannot 1 shot and go away yourself. Peel remains mostly your responsibility in the back. If you decide to play front to back team fights he can mostly peel for you. HIs engage potential is not bad but definitely not the best as CC durations on abilities are low and with relatively high cooldown.
Leona
While being able to deliver huge amount of CC. Leona only has that, compared to Naut or Rell that can also provide pulling enemies closer to them, Leona does not have that. Does pretty good job on lane with zoning but you have to be mindful of her engage, avoid playing far away from her as after she commits and the CC expires she becomes a punching bag. Make sure to be extremely alert when fighting as she does not have any tools to peel for you and you always have a target on your back. Her ult + yours on a backline carry is an option but be aware of your surroundings, there is no point killing the enemy back line if you die as well. Preferably stick to front to back team fight in behind her. Late game do not hesitate to follow her up as long as her ult hits, if she misses E or threat abilities are up, ping her to back off and do not follow.
Sona
Sona has no synergy with Kai'sa, due to the lack of CC in her kit. Her poke playstyle is a complete opposite to Kai'Sa's as you would love to fight all in on most lanes and you need a support to tank and keep enemies stunned. You should adapt to the Sona's playstyle in such situations. Let her dictate the lane pace, with a support like her you want to reach late game to get some value out of her. Play W max statikk build to be able to have some type of a chance, as Kraken Slayer is useless when you cannot get more than a few hits in.
Yuumi
Yuumi has incredible tools to peel, however she lacks in the engage department. You are gonna need to play a bit more passive to let her shine, her relevance starts around the mid game, once she completes 2-3 items. You are gonna look to only quick trade on lane, when her shield is up to create HP lead. If you are facing an all in lane, stay out of reach of the engage ability and try to short trade the enemy ADC with Yuumi's shield to help you. Once you get out of lane and transition to mid lane you've got breathing room to get to that point where Kai'Sa will have her evolves and Yuumi would have scaled enough to shine. Your top priority will be to dodge stuns and be mindful of gap closers, poke won't faze you much later on as Yuumi's got incredible healing at that stage. The provided movement speed and heals + shields will enable you to smash the enemy team. As long as you keep out of CC's you will be strong enough to deal with everybody as Yuumi will be providing you with so many heals and shields it will feel like a second life.
Poppy
Poppy ain't the greatest CC machine, like Leona and Nautilus, but she compensates for that with a good balance of engage and peeling. Her damage output early game is insane allowing you both to dominate the lane if somebody gets pushed in the wall by her. The W provides solid disengage, being able to counter every single engage that tries to come your way. To top if off, her ult can save you by pushing everyone away or keep them in the air for you to melt them down without resistance. Poppy's lane is one of the most solid lanes for a support, she could be considered a perfect snowball support, as winning lane can mean hell for both enemy mid and jungler. She loves to roam a lot but while she is on the lane it really counts. Stay sharp for her E engage once she does it you have a free passive proc, meaning 1 later will be out of the lane with one simple combo by you two. Most Poppies are looking to play really aggressive due to Poppy's abnormal base damage. Later on she becomes a solid frontline that's able to both engage and peel. What makes Poppy and incredible support is the perfect balance she has between engage and peel. However her CC duration is not the longest, that's way I'd say Rell, Rakan and Naut remain a better option. Be prepared for Poppy to force a lot of fights trough out the entire game, while most of them will be on isolated targets as her kit is great for catching someone of guard. As every tank support the longer the games goes the more irrelevant they become, however with her early and mid game she is good enough pick in case that your perfect synergies are not available.
Bard
Bard is an amazing character, but not a good synergy for Kai'Sa. While he provides some CC and damage, in lane he is really squishy and has to be careful. Kai'Sa could play only off of his stuns or if enemy bot lane engages on him. As the game progresses it becomes a bit easier to operate due to Bard's incredible scaling and impact late game. However Bard has upsides as well they are just pros for your team mates not for you. While your lane will be suffering in mid and jungle there will be huge success. Due to Bard's roaming nature, you'd have to sacrifice more than an Ezreal would need to, but if you get stuck in this situation you need to know how to approach it. Play on the same line as Bard in lane and be caution of his Q's as they will be one of the few trading windows you are going to have. Even if there are not a lot of them if you follow them up it could make huge difference. Your goal won't be to beat lane, but not to lose it. Depending of enemy match up of course this approach might be the opposite of what you need to do. In short against healer/shielder try trading only when his Q stuns to avoid the heals/shields mitigating damage and turn the trade in your enemies favor. Against the tanks, wait for them to use their engage tool and follow up, even if they hit Bard try to hit from a safe place to try and turn the tides. As most of the tank supports are sitting ducks without their hooks/jumps/dashes. Remember Bard packs a punch himself with his electrocute runes. If the enemy bot has a tank support and ADC that scales worse or equal to you, it's worth it to wait for Bard to scale. However in heavy scale matchup, you should try to punish them trough Bard's Qs and your combos. As most Bard players use their tools to engage keep in mind that you staying alive will remain your responsibility. However you could expect to have the engaged target wiped out later on as his R>Q if both hit have not bad CC duration.
Alistar
Alistar's kit offers both peel and engage, while the latter is with greater strength due to his ult. He is probably the weakest support level 1, however that changes after he gets his abilities. You should be respectful of level 2 spike for the enemy bot lane as most people now a days know how weak is Alistar in the start and will contest it. After level 2 comes it's your time to breathe, keep in mind that his engage will be as good as the follow up. If you do not go in immediately with him, he becomes a punching bag as his abilities have relatively high cooldown. In case you disapprove with the engage warn him before he goes in, because if he does and you do not follow him, there are high chances of him dying or wasting his sums. In general when his abilities are up you can have the freedom of aggression, just make sure not to lose too much health before the all in, both of you. Adapting to the Alistar here will be essential as some players are really passive and will create very few opportunities, meaning you've got to capitalize on them 100%. If he is always going in, try to follow him up as much as you can without dying, preferably ping him in advance or tell him over chat as engage supports could get tilted after you do not follow them up a couple of times and start trolling. Late game he is unkillable tank machine so front to back team fights will be a piece of cake. Don't try to go on the back line unless they are caught by CC and another team member is there to support you.
Braum
Braum can offer solid front line capabilities and not bad amount of CC. The downside of the synergy as you can proc his passive relatively slow, due to your main damage coming from abilities and not having huge AS buffs even with your E. The stun lock becomes a bit flippy early game especially making them not the best pair. Not to mention, Kai'Sa needs someone who can dive in with her, unfortunately for Braum that is one of the few things he lacks. If you do find yourself stuck on lane with Braum you need to play behind him and not force engages unless there is a volatile target without escape too far forward. Against poke/short trading bot lane you have to look for an all in. Make sure they use their disengage ability before doing it. Do not back off when doing that as you are almost certain to win, just be mindful of their abilities as all of them will try to hit you while you and Braum try to engage. Once you catch someone of this type you are guaranteed to kill him as they characterize with low mobility. If you face the tank type lanes that play front to back. Make sure you are always ready to jump if you are not facing a hard counter ADC. Very few ADC's can out damage you on lane, if you ain't against one of those you are free to fight as long as you do not get caught. Even if a hook catches the Braum it is not a problem, because your passive is a huge difference maker. Most of the times if you get procs on both Braum's passive and yours you've already won the fight. Good news for you are that on the peeling side you are covered Braum is a peeling machine, nobody can touch you as long as you are behind him. Do keep in mind that most engages will start from you going forward so he can W>Q and then use E and stay forward.

Rell
Make sure to use your W while they are in CC. Don't Ult hastily to follow engages, asses area first before you ult in.
