You can either be aggresive in the early game and risk it for the biscuit ( or for the kills better said ) , or you can play defensive farm souls till level 6-7, when you can box them with ultimate but they will have it too. It depends on what your adc wants as well.

Because why not ? You can hook them go into them, box them, shield your adc, catch them with your e , and escape because you took no damage, especially after getting frozen heart . And redemption also helps you a lot in teamfights, with mass healing and dealing a bit of damage to enemies too.

Because when you hook them they will immediately come with 200+ life taken, and the cooldown won't be as big, so you can catch them faster again.

Flash is almost essential. The Flash + Q combo even if it's not used that often, it can help you escape or save someone from a skill shot .

Exhaust helps A LOT in early game. Not only that it slows the enemy and it will be hard for them to escape, but they will deal significantly less damage, helping you to win the fight.

With heal from your adc, 2 heals in a fight won't help that much, because it will heal you less.
