Hell lane, try to establish dominance at lvl 1 forcing him to use all of his potions, then farm as best as you can and wait for a jungler gank. When he's in base or dead, push your lane as fast as you can, and roam mid or invade the enemy jungler.

Introduction

Hey there, I don't like writing useless stuff much, so I'll just focus on important things in the sections below.

Ranked Play

As long as you don't first pick him in higher levels of play, you should be fine.
Only get teleport if you know you have someone on botlane that can truly carry. If you are playing with random people in a solo queue game, ignite is the way to go.

Pros / Cons

Amazing damage.
Low counterplay.
Unexpected strategy.
Almost never banned or picked.
Underestimated.

No hard CC.
Your team doesn't usually expect much, so you'll get fewer ganks.
Gets camped more often than other toplaners.
Weak gap closer.

Team Work

Avoid going with the team, your E does 33% extra damage when it hits only one target, your best damage output is in 1v1 without minions around.

If you must fight, either go from behind without being seen, or use flash + full combo to delete the biggest threat on the enemy team (some hyper adc like vayne, or a hyper-healer like soraka).

Spells

Ignite so that you can snowball your lane. You won't need teleport because you will not be going bot, you'll be taking the 3rd tower top while your mid/jungle/bot are still fighting for 1st dragon.

Only take teleport if you know your adc and know that they can carry well. Careful though, without ignite, you're much weaker in lane.
