Twitch is used to supplement the damage of tank-heavy teams by providing reliable damage-over-time. His invisibility can be used to safely deep-ward regardless of game phase and on-map threats. He provides unmatched counter-ganking by surprising opponents with his surprising damage, and can force the enemy team to play defensively by remaining missing from the minimap for prolonged periods of time.

Twitch is unique among supports for his access to a low-cost long-duration invisibility, which allows him to safely rotate through river and jungle without alerting enemy wards. This is used to place wards in otherwise dangerous areas, and to provide unexpected counterganks. This build utilizes Twitch's passive DoT coupled with AP Survivability Items to become a relevant anti-tank DPS at a much lower cost than a standard build would allow.

Twitch is best used to supplement a team already well-equipped with survivability and crowd control, but lacking in damage. He is to be picked against meta-relevant high-armor tanks, and is used to disrupt teamfights with zone control and reliable damage.

Do not pick Twitch to support an ADC that fully requires a lanesitter. Prefer a tank or enchantress when in doubt of your ADC's ability to survive alone in lane for prolonged periods.

Successful Play Includes: Unpredictable movement using your invisibility, constant warding of enemy jungle / river, entering lanes with invisibility, ambushing opponents who attempt to damage your ADC, providing basic lane harassment for your ADC.

Pitfalls Include: Over-roaming, ignoring the needs of your ADC, small-damage (E) usage, attempting to "Manfight" high-damage opponents, attempting traditional assassin-style gameplay.
