Pantheon
Tank supports, especially Pantheon, can go-in on Twitch's ADC with very little recourse available for the small creature. While Twitch melts tanks in late-game, he performs miserably against them early on. Prefer a CC support in this situation.
Senna
Twitch prefers ADCs with the ability to protect themselves from lane pressure, as well as ADC's with reliable crowd control. While Senna is not the only ADC he works well with, she is an excellent example of his preferred laning partner.

Champion Build Guide
Twitch is unique among supports for his access to a low-cost long-duration invisibility, which allows him to safely rotate through river and jungle without alerting enemy wards. This is used to place wards in otherwise dangerous areas, and to provide unexpected counterganks. This build utilizes Twitch's passive DoT coupled with AP Survivability Items to become a relevant anti-tank DPS at a much lower cost than a standard build would allow.
Do not pick Twitch to support an ADC that fully requires a lanesitter. Prefer a tank or enchantress when in doubt of your ADC's ability to survive alone in lane for prolonged periods.
Pitfalls Include: Over-roaming, ignoring the needs of your ADC, small-damage (E) usage, attempting to "Manfight" high-damage opponents, attempting traditional assassin-style gameplay.
