Draven is a lane bully, there's no really a way you can win laning phase against a Draven who'll play properly. You might want to consider sticking tower, and eventually asking jungler for help.
Qss might help against her, Annie might want to Flash and stun you right after, be ready for that. After Luden Echo her damage might be insane, try to avoid her W and R, somehow I guess.
I really think Twitch is one of the best champions that can counter Vayne, along with Draven. His E can deal huge damage to you, try to also avoid getting caught in W of his, play as safe as you can untill you're confident you can kill him, or you catch him up off guard. You might want to try to Condem him into the wall and then bursting him.
This is quite annoying... ughh... His blind counters you quite a lot. Try to engage right after he used his blind [Q], also get red trinket in order to clear his Shrooms [R], you'll have to respect his R while playing Vayne.
Caitlynn out ranges you easily, try to avoid stepping into her traps, and/or combined CC at any cost. She will usually try to poke you everytime you come up to minions, she also can reveal your invisibility when she targets you with her R. Caitlynn might be an extreme threat if she's matched with Morgana in team.
Enormous burst damage, she's a beast early. However during late game, or even mid game there's not really much she can do against you. Surviving early is your goal there.
MF will try to play as agressive as she can, play passive during the laning phase, you cannot really win early against her. Avoid getting tapped by her Q's, and dont stay right behind minions. Try to position against her R, and Condem [E] her as soon as she R's, if you're able to, that will interrupt her ultimate and push her away. Try to keep your Q in case if she uses her E to slow you, cause you might get poked a lot.
In my opinion Tristana is quite complicated to call her a counter, however she out ranges you, her W engage is quite huge against you, you will get outtraded by Tristana in any early trades. You will be fine during late game, and especially if you manage to hit Condem [E]. Beware of Tristana 2lv, any good Tristana will ALWAYS look for opportunity to engage on you as soon as she hits level 2.
Avoid Gravitium (Purple Slowing/Rooting weapon of his), it might be a huge threat for you. If you manage to Condem [E] him, you'll probably win a trade, however at this point where Aphelios is quite overpowered you should respect him during laning phase and focus him down on teamfights.
He can outrange you easily, however you can trade against him early. If there's a Lulu with him, respect your damage and try to focus him down.
You'll have to respect her damage, since the damage of her is huge, however you should be fine during late game. As always look for opportunities to condem [E] her to the wall.
He might get you in trouble with his damage output, avoid going through his E, tumble outta his R if he uses it on you. Dont get caught in his Q.
You can Tumble [Q] away from Q, W and R of his. However if you really get hit by ANY of his abilities that will hurt you A LOT, try to play passive against him if possible.
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.
Beware stun and slows of her, try to not get caught up into her R, if you manage to dodge it and Condem [E] her into the wall, you'll probably manage to win the fights. You might want to consider playing passive against Ashe.
Beware of Varus R, after you get hit by that you most likely will be dead, however if you manage to avoid it, you can go all in on him. He has powerful W+Q that he can catch you up and deal enormous damage with, although there's a catch since you can dodge it with your Tumble [Q].
Avoid getting hit by his Q's. Play around his W, you can easily avoid his Q's.
This is quite a even matchup. Avoid her E, keep in mind to place well against her.
That matchup goes quite about who'll outscale whom. Try to farm as much as you can, look for Condem [E] opportunities. Beware W > R's of her.
Jhin can outarnge you, and he might cause some trouble with his W and R. Try to avoid his skillshots with your Tumble, don't get caught in his root [W]. You'll win as soon as you get him stunned, Jhin is really immobile and you can easily chase him with your Ultimate and Passive additional MS. You might want to look for some engage opportunities after he uses his 4th bullet.
That's all up to you if you manage to survive or not. Avoid his Q's, don't get near him if that's possible since a silence from his R might be deadly sometimes.
Avoid getting caught up by him, don't come up to him as, as long as you can stay out of his melee and Q range you should melt him down, care about his R, if he Q's you, you should try to R>Q around him, play around bushes or flash away.
If you manage to hit the Condem [E] you'll most likely win the matchup, Kalista struggles a lot against any CC's, but so do you. You might not be able to trade against her early, due to her huge damage there, however she'll disappear in a blink of the eye during late game.
You can 1v1 her easily however you might get punished for cs'ing due to her range, avoid getting hit by R & W, and that way you should be fine.
This matchup really depends on you dodging his abilities, however I put him on '2' considering you do know, and you are able to know how to avoid these. Respect his trades, if he's running Lethal Tempo you might want to engage while it's on CD. Try to make him E to you and then engage on him.
Dodge her Q's, avoid staying near minions so that you can avoid getting hit by W of her's. If you have a support with some heavy CC's such as Leona, Thresh or Blitz you might want to use Condem [E] earlier to bait her Spell Shield out. She might be a threat early.
You can Tumble [Q] away from his Q and W, or R. Respect his early level trades, you out scale him easily. Engage after hitting level 6.
Braum cannot block your Silver Bolts [W], with his E shield. Try to keep your Q to avoid his Q and R. Relatively simple matchup, however try to avoid getting stunned, since it might end up with you dying.
Lux is probably the easiest matchup that you can have, simply dodge all of her abilities with your Tumble, you're extremly mobile.
You can easily Condem [E] him away as soon as he W's on you, so that you won't get knocked nor stunned from him. You deal true % damage so that you can melt him easily after Guinsoo. Beware of tower diving against Alistar, and/or getting dived on level 6 and up.
This matchup is really easy, as long as you don't let Nasus farm, and you should not! You can melt him easily with your Silver Bolts [W]
Prevent him from proxy'ing, and as long as you dominate early game, you should be fine.
Your high mobility counters her whole kit, avoid getting hit by Q and E. You should melt her after Guinsoo and/or even Bork.
The damage output from Vayne and Brand is huge if you manage to execute it.
Nunu & Willump
You might need to engage before Fiddle in order to bait, and that's not really a good thing for Vayne, however if you manage to execute it, you should be fine.
I really don't think 2 squishies and late game champions go together too well. However due to Senna being able to make Ardent and her healing she might be an 'OK' pick.
Champion Build Guide
My name is David (Zodyacc), I am a Diamond/Platinum (EUNE) Vayne player. In this Guide I'll try my best to help you with getting better, or starting at Vayne. Feel free to ask any questions regarding Vayne, I'll do my best to respond as soon as I am able to do so. I also own a tiny Twitch channel, feel free to join me on my streams, I'd be glad to see you there! (I'll be streaming in 3 months, or so as soon as I get new PC, if you'd be interested in such)
As for the Vayne, I can tell she's one of squishiest adcs you can pick, with really poor early game, short range and high skillcap, however she's really rewarding to play and has huge outplay potential, she can melt tanks easily, her mobility is insane. You might want to pick Vayne whenever there are some heavy tanks and you lack damage against them in team.
+ Huge Burst Potential|
+ Excellent against Tanks
+ Has Stealth
+ Great 1v1's and outplays potential
+ Extremly Mobile
+ Hyper carry
- One of squishiest champions in game|
- Reasonably weak during early game
- Depends on support early
- Difficult to master/high skill cap
- You have to be close to walls, in order to hit Condemn
- Shortest range of all adcs
- Poor wave clear
So as for the runes, I'll explain the domination tree, as for the runes on Vayne keep in mind, you cannot go wrong with any runes, every rune brings something useful to your kit and your invidual playstyle However Sudden Impact and Ravenous Hunter are probably the default ones that you might want to go for if you're new to Vayne.
20 points for champion takedowns
20 points for epic monster takedowns
5 points for large monster kills
0.8 points for minion kills
I consider Legend: Alacrity and an absolute need for any Vayne build, it grants you quite a lot of Attack Speed which works amazing with your W Silver Bolts.
Caitlyn - High
Caitlyn can deny you from farming at lane, not only that, she outranges you quite a lot. If she targets you with Ace in the Hole that'll reveal you out of your R>Q invisibility. She's really annoying to play against
+ Give up the minions if that's necessary, since you'll most likely be pushed under turret not being able to farm. However, if you're able to - take control of the lane.
+ Be careful and watch out for the traps, you can easily Q Tumble into them by a mistake.
+ Avoid taking unnecessary damage from Caitlyn Q
( 🚧 In Progress 🚧 Keep out! 🚧 )
