THIS BUILD/GUIDE AIN'T DONE YET ALSO.
Welcome children to the School of Jesters. I will be your teacher, Shaco. Some of you may know me as the heavy hitting demonic jester, but i'll show you true terror. Today, i shall show you how to use magic to fight instead of damage to frighten your enemies. Take notes class, for this class is hard to learn but harder to master.

I love giving myself a ton of early ability power so that I could completely dominate my opponents with my lovely shivs, boxes for jungle also. To accomplish this, i need to get as many ability power runes that my hands can get. It just so happens that this rune is one of the ones i need.

Like i said before, you want mass ability power. This means that you want mass ability power runes. These runes just add onto that early game level one ability power that you want.

Now, you want to buy these runes first because of the fact that they give you a point of ability power straight. Unlike the other runes, these are the fastest way to get ability power because it's the runes Primary. What "Primary" means is that you get the most out of this certain attribute because this type of rune is it's allocated rune. In general, just buy this rune...

Now, these runes are the most expensive runes out of all of em. You got to buy 3 of em two, and with that kind of IP, you could basically buy a new 6300 IP champion. But, if you want to dominate early on with Shaco, you need to dedicate.
Now children, it is time for the Masteries. Masteries are great because, like runes, they give you an early advantage. The standard masteries are 9 Offense, 0 Defense, 21 Utility.
OFFENSE - I go nine points in offense because you need the 15% Magic Penetration. 15 percent allows a lot of damage to go through your target's defenses, on top of that it's essentially completely FREE. Who doesn't love free penetration? You don't want to spend anymore on offense because most of the stats are allocated with attack damage champions and since this build is for ability power, we'd be jumping over the subject area.
Defense - You don't want point in defensive tree because of the fact that there isn't any useful points in this side of the masteries that can help you out. Sure, it'll let you live through some tough situations but the point of AP Shaco is to trick and fear your enemies from running away from you. Plus you got flash and Q, so if you get caught after what i'm going to teach you, SHAME SHAME SHAME.
Utility - Utility tree is one of the best trees to go for whenever playing a ability power champion for an array of reasons. First off, it gives you mana regen, meaning you could SPAM your moves a bit more if you combine a little bit of mana regeneration from items. Second, it reduces your summoner spell cooldowns a lot, well, what i consider to be a lot anyway. Now, you can use flash and ignite a bit more because flash's cooldown is reduced 15 seconds plus another 15%, with ignite's being reduced by 15% too. On top of that, it reduces your champions cooldown's by 6% but WAIT! There's more. It increases your movement speed by 3%, this get's my movement speed from 325 all the way up to 335. That's a whole ten units up. If you have a Janna on your team, it goes even higher to 344 at only level one. This tree hits about six issues with one swing of it's branch.

ITEMS! The most important part of any champion. Now, there are many way to build an ability power Shaco, however, there are a few CORE items that you cannot live without. These cores items consist of:
Core Items
These three items are the core items that this build is built around. After these three there are many situation items that you can go but, well you know, the items depends on the situation.
Deathfire is on the Core Items because it gives you 3 major things. Ability power, cooldown reduction of 15% and a Unique Active that is SO Jesus, it makes me want to cry every time i use it. If you add in the 10 mana per second, that's four things but ehh, i feel that it isn't the important part of this item.
Sorc shoes are a good pick on AP Shaco because they give you 2 important factors. Magic Penetration and movement of 2. Now, i don't have to explain the rest because hopefully, you all know the rest.
Now, Morello's evil tome is the perfect final core item for a few reasons. It gives you cooldown reduction of 15%, just like Deathfire, it gives you 75 ability power and also 12 mana regeneration per second. Mostly, you want it because it gives you a fair amount of ability power for a reasonable price and also the CDR to help finish you cap at 40%.
Now, you all should know the reasoning behind buying the deathcap. It's because of it's passive. The fact that it gives 140 AP plus another 30% of your total AP, it just an item that greatly increases your damage output.
As some of you may have noticed, Shaco is squishy. To help counteract this a bit, you get a rylai's because it gives you that 500 health point oost but also a extra 80 AP. It's unique passive is also nice since it slow's enemies depending on what type of spell you use.
To help Shaco against those annoying heavy hitting spells, a ZGlass is needed so that you could gain that 2 seconds of invincibility to see if it'll give you those 2 seconds you need to pull of a deceive and disappear with a close to death getaway.

FAVORITE BUILD
Seeing as how the first three items are the core build, add my personal arsenal and there's no way you could lose a fight.
Ah, Lich Bane. What a lovely item. It's such a special MUST for me because of the special double damage based off of your ability power. Decieve combined with a Lich Bane is domination because of the critical combo added to it. Hit em in the back and it's even better. On top of that, it gives you some bonus ability power and also extra movement speed. And we all know what i say about extra MS, A speedy champ, is a dangerous champion.
This item's is part of the regular build, but in case you missed it. It's a great item because of the slow, survivability, and the 80AP that accompanies the item.
