COUNTERS

Draven is countered by heavy crowd control as that restricts him from catching his axes which keeps up his Blood Rush and it, of course, negates the damage boost. In lane, he doesn't have a lot of counters, though Alistar and Blitzcrank can give him a hard time, especially when he doesn't position well. His only laning counter is Caitlyn as her long attack range makes it really hard to harass and her traps can really restrict him in his movement.

To avoid getting countered is to not pick Draven early or to ban out most of his counters such as Caitlyn. It is also wise to get a Morgana on your team - either as mid laner or as support if you plan on picking Draven.
