Introduction

We all know that Yasuo is one of the hardest champions in the game, even though some of the players just won't agree with that.
Though the skill that this champion requires is exactly what makes him so deadly if played correctly. Yasuo is a mid/top fighter who scales progressively with the game. Late game is where Yasuo is really hard to play and late game is where Yasuo gets extremely dangerous. This guide will describe all the weaknesses that Yasuo has and how to deal with them ( well, supposedly how to deal with them). Let's get it goin!

Runes

Yasuo doesn't really have too many options when we're talking about runes. He really can use 4 summoner spells depending on the match-up he's in. For instance against high burst assasins and mages such as Zed, Ekko, Annie, Malzahar etc. the best choice is Exhaust.

Exhaust really gives Yasuo the upper hand through the early-mid game against high burst since Yasuo has high damage too, but is really squishy and easy to catch off-guard. Plus late game Exhaust is probably the most powerful summoner spell so there's another good point.

Now against champions like Brand and Katarina, Yasuo can easily take Ignite. Why? Because in 99% of the match-ups Yasuo ***** on those champions just because their early game is pretty weak compared to Yasuo's and they can't do too much about it. Yasuo can easily burst him when he gets his Last Breath and it's pretty much a one shot combo without counterplay.

The main spell as always is Flash. I don't recommend getting any other movement spell ( Ghost, Heal ), just because they really don't work with Yasuo's kit ( Let's not forget the E-Q-Flash things and yeh), you can't really get the style points if you don't have flash.

And yeah, when you're playing Top Lane Yasuo the best choice is Teleport.
1. You can catch up if you're getting **** on on lane quicker.
2. You can do whatever you want with the lane if you just got a kill and need to back or something.
3. Teleport really gives you that all-map pressure and if timed correctly, that's a free double for you.

Masteries

Well you really have two choices right now, and they are either Conqueror or Press the Attack.
1. Conqueror is the best keystone for Yasuo just because he really gets that high burst true damage especially in the late game, when he goes for someone and just one shots him without even his passive being touched.

2. Press the Attack is more of a sustained damage keystone for Yasuo. He does get some extra damage, but let's be honest against tanks we all would prefer true damage over more physical damage.

I'll drop 2 pictures of the 2 keystone set-ups.

Skill Sequence

I can't really say anything about that it's obvious what you should max on him first nowadays, i'll just drop a picture.

Items

And now the items. Well then there are only a few good Yasuo builds and ima drop them one by one and tell yall which build is the best for each situation.

1.

Item Sequence

Phantom Dancer 2650
Infinity Edge 3450
Guardian Angel 3200
Mortal Reminder 3300
Frozen Mallet 3100
Ninja Tabi 1100
I use this build against heavy ad comps with healing effects on themselves ( Master Yi, Garen, Darius, Fiora and etc. )
The Mortal Reminder Mortal Reminder is the best item to cut off the healing of an enemy champion and good thing is that Yasuo can apply the effect pretty quickly with his Q Steel Tempest.
The Frozen Mallet Frozen Mallet gives you the health you need to survive the burst of champions like Master Yi Master Yi.
And for the Guardian Angel Guardian Angel as third item, it really helps you get the needed resistances against the hard scale of champs like Zed Zed and Master Yi Master Yi. Combined with the Ninja Tabi Ninja Tabi you get enough armor to turn the tables, even late game.

2.

Item Sequence

Statikk Shiv 2700
Infinity Edge 3450
Ninja Tabi 1100
Bloodthirster 3400
Guardian Angel 3200
Lord Dominik's Regards 3100
This build is for heavy burst. It's like you're the ADC, you go in with this build and just kill everyone in your path. You need good frontline for this build, such as Sejuani Sejuani or Galio Galio.
This build is good for waveclear too, because of the Statikk Shiv Statikk Shiv, which helps you being more helpful to you entire teamcomp.

3.

Item Sequence

Phantom Dancer 2650
Blade of the Ruined King 3200
Infinity Edge 3450
Ninja Tabi 1100
Sterak's Gage 3200
Frozen Mallet 3100
This build is the Bruiser build. This is the build I like the most, since it provides Yasuo everything that he needs and covers every weakness that he has throughout the stages of the game. For example late game with this build he's nowhere near squishy because of the Frozen Mallet Frozen Mallet and the Sterak's Gage Sterak's Gage.
The Ninja Tabi Ninja Tabi give him the needed armor that he needs mid game, but you might as well switch them with Merc. Treds Mercury's Treads.
