The only problem I see now is that you said Rod of Ages gives 400 hp. This is wrong. After full stacks, fully built, it gives 700 hp :) this is why I build it.

I enjoy playing glass cannon Lux, it just depends on the team (you could add a small section on other viable items if you want to include Rod of Ages somewhere, but it's your guide, not mine!)

This guide is pretty much about how I play Lux (I'm a big Lux fan as you can see in the name). I would advise that you might pretty up your guide a bit. The walls of text are aweful. Also, you might want to format some of your info a little more. Your actual guide info though is really good

I read your PM, but I think you can make it look even better! How about typing Void Staff instead of Void Staff :)

Don't forget about list, column, and other such useful things.

For example, a list might be useful in the pros/cons:

Pros:

It does slow down damage a bit. But that's what kill-stealing lazer beams for for :) get nice and fed. I think the survivability is needed... but if you prefer pure nuke over mega nuke with survivability, that's fine. It's how you like to play!

Last thing I will say on the matter: I usually get scores like 14/4/19, without Rod of Ages. With it I would probably around 8/3/16, simply because it slows my damage output in favor of survivability you just don't need...

Rod of Ages provides a great early game with the catalyst of the protector and gives you all the survivability you need throughout the entire game, along with the much needed mana because of her high mana costs.

Yes, you are supposed to be in the back, but you're crazy if you think that the enemy Xin Zhao is not going to charge past the line to break you in half because your HP pool is... puny.

Anyhow, the rest of the build looks fine. Sorcerer's Shoes is a great start for Lux. I usually rely on blue buff for CDR, although Morello's Evil Tome is good too (I usually don't buy it, I rush Rod of Ages and then Rabadon's Deathcap for the huge AP boost).

Lich Bane is an amazing item on Lux. Good choice. So is Void Staff. The only thing I would change is Abyssal Mask because you are not going to be close to the enemy 90% of the time to even get the aura on your enemies. I suggest replacing it with Zhonya's Hourglass to add mass AP for even more kaboom and the armor will definitely help you defend yourself ( Lich Bane gives you enough MR).

Mejai's Soulstealer is good on Lux for people who are experienced with her. That's about it.

Try adding a section on how to burst with Lux for new players! (I have my combo ;D)

And do your best to rid your guide of dreaded walls of texts. Other than that, nice job.

I didn't say I'm playing ranked... But we are kinda hijacking this, we shouldn't.

Without survivability in most ranked games, you're going to die. Simple as that. RoA gives mana, strong survivability, ap and sustain for a lane. It makes it so you can lane longer. Longer time in the lane = more farm and levels.

It hurts that it needs explanation. On Lux it is ****, not on everyone ._. It grants you 3 measly stats, of which only the little AP is slighty useful. You want CDR -> AP -> more AP, not survivability... You are in the back anyways...

Really good build, I love it! I prefer to take Zhonya's Hourglass, but that's just me.

I agree with Toshabi that you should stay in the back, but often the enemy team has some AP carry focusing you. I agree that Banshee's Veil is often more useful, however.

Rod of Ages is ****, so is Ionian Boots of Lucidity and I love you don't buy either <3

If the enemy team has lots of AD champs, Frozen Heart might be a decent replacement for Morello's Evil Tome.

Actually you counter Tryn's ult... I usually don't mind playing against Tryn as Lux :)

And last but not least, you should click the first link in my signature, to learn about how I (and Toshabi too) have used BBCoding to get Lux instead of Lux ;) It will make your guide look a lot better then now.
