This match up is really annyoing if the Yasuo knows what he is doing. You can't really go full out on him, since he just can block all your feathers with his windwall. Just play safe in lane. You have good wave clear, so look out for roams if killing him is impossible. He is my perma ban atm cuz his winwall ruins everything.
Irelia
GO HAIL OF BLADES IF YOU WANNA SURVIVE HER ALL IN FOR A ROOT! She's the toughest matchup of all here. She just make farming early a nightmare, since you have to look out for her dashes and it can be difficult to root her, so use your w mostly for damage. Make sure to keep your ult up when she ults.
Yone
His E is annoying and last for so long, so try to keep having feather laying around in lane for a possible root.
Zed
A good Zed just trades better, so don't take risky trades. Try to bait his ult out and use your own ult, it will remove his ult mark from you.
Katarina
If you just keep an eye out for her daggers position, you can trade better, just bully her early and don't let her roam on her own or else you have lost! Her ult isn't that scary if you keep your ult up when she ults, plus you have barrier.
Veigar
I want to put him here, because laning with him is not that hard, but because it's Veigar, he can still oneshot combo you late game if you get caught up in his cage. Oh also one wrong step and it's over :/
Brand
I've only played against him once in midlane, but it's the same suffer as in botlane..Hit kit is strong early game, and even if you dogde his W, his E will just hit you instead. Eclipe migt be the better option against him and remember to use barrier, before you are low, else you're getting burned to death.
Heimerdinger
His turrets are so annoying and his whole kit is just longer range and he does way too much damage. Always take barrier against him. The changes of killing him is pretty low. Play safe with Q + E poke, and wait for your ult.
Viktor
He will just use his laser as soon as you approach him. Go for Q E poke, since W range is kind of risky without your ult.
Pantheon
The funny thing about Pantheon is that he's annoying in botlane, but in mid he is easy to play against. Just bait his stun out and be sure you have set your feathers up behind him before he jumps. You can even block his stun with your ult.
Master Yi
He is only here cuz I played against him once as a midlaner and I won xd
Malzahar
Careful with his ult, go barrier and buy a Hexdrinker early.
Gangplank
Actually awful playing against. He will just eat his life back and cancel root like that, plus his barrels will just one shot you late game anyway if taking one wrong step. Egde of Night is recommended if you wanna survive
Aurelion Sol
Laning is no problem, but his late game is awful to play against
Nocturne
When you are playing Xayah mid, Nocturne is actually a nightmare. Just when you think you're about to kill the enemy midlaner, he will come and hunt you down, you have no support with you and his ult cooldown is lower than yours. When he is lvl 6, play safe in lane until you know he just used ult
Akali
Akali is not worth banning at all, she has also been to the weaker side for quite a while now, just bait her e and ult her for the kill. Maybe since I'm not in high elo, I don't know the horrors? But for me she is one of the easiest matchups, especially with Hail Of Blades runes
Vex
Vex is in a really good spot right now and has safer wave clear than you. Since you don't have dashes and you can dogde her ult with yours (plus barrier), it's easy enough to survive her as long as her jungler isn't there...The issue is just that she can scale quite easily as soon as she hits lvl 6 and can roam better than you.
Naafiri
She can actually poke quite a lot with her wolves, and since people know how to play her now, she's pretty annoying!
Ahri
A good Ahri is so annyoing! Before lvl 6 it's alright, but when she's lvl 6, she will just all in you under turret with ult, dodge all your feathers and escape turret easily again.
Tristana
It's no much use going lethality against her, I prefer to take crit + hail of blades for a quick root when she jumps.
Fizz
Annoying in his own way. Buying hexdrinker early might be necessary! He can just wait your root and dodge it, so another match where hail of blades is better to prevent him to stop all the damage.
Anivia
Anivia isn't much of a threat before lvl 6, since you just can poke from afar with your feathers, and if she misses her Q, try to go for an all in with your w. She can be a difficult matchup if dodging abilities is your weak point, cuz she hurts!
Annie
I only fear her in lvl 6, but her early poke with Auto attack is kinda hard to miss, since she has way longer auto attack range than you. Prepare yourself in lvl 6, she will often try to flash + ult and use her whole combo on you, so buying Maw is a good choice here and prepare with your own ult or/and barrier
Syndra
Lots of annoying damage and knockbacks in the early laning. If you wanna farm, you have to give in to her poke. Prepare to farm under turret or buy tear as first item.
Xerath
He can be a real pain with poke, but I find it easier to dogde his skills in midlane than in bot. You should be able to survive ult if you got both ult and barrier. Since he is so slow, I like to go Arcane Comet against him
Swain
If you wanna kill Swain, do the crit build instead. He's a little tanky, but it's quite easy to kill or escape him if you go Hail of blades. If he catches you and you pull in, it's you that got the upper hand, because now you're in w range and can just do a lot of damage!
Vladimir
The chances of killing him is low. The chances of him killing you is low if he does NOT get a gank. Often laning against a Vladimir is just farming simulator, so just be careful about ganks and remember to look at map if jungler needs help. Your wave doesn't get hard pushed by him.
Sylas
How this champion is hard to rate on threats! Since he is close range, you got the upper hand in lane and can be pretty safe with hail of blades. Since he is mostly gonna steal your ult in lane, none of you is gonna die, but he can be a REAL PAIN in teamfights if he gets a dangerous ult or get to free roam, so don't let him roam.
Seraphine
Not many Sera players left in midlane, but she is pretty easy to play against when you do meet her. You can easily dodge her ult with your own, and you have just as good wave clear as her.
Twisted Fate
He isn't scary when he doesn't have Rapid Fire
LeBlanc
If you want a slightly chance to catch her, go Hail of Blade runes. Most Le Blanc player doesn't wanna go full in on you, because they know you're planning a root.
Taliyah
A good Taliyah is hard to all in on, because she might trade better than you, but if you just focus on farm and keep you distance with Q + E poke, then you're pretty safe
Corki
Poor Corki, I like his character so much, but he doesn't stand a chance against Xayah, especially not if you chase him down with Hail Of Blades.

This combo is actually amazing. A good Zac will jump in behind and Airborne them, while you can stack 3 feathers up. Enemy midlaner can almost never escape your combo if they don't have much mobility!

You root, she root. You got damage, she got damage. She might even secure the kill for ya.
Milio
His ult cleanses you so you can ult, he gives extra damage, and Xayah loves the movement speed and range. Honestly a solid pick.

So I went back to my Ravenous Hydra build to see if there still was a viable build option even tho Immortal Shieldbow itsn't a mythic item anymore and YES there is!
With this build, you can do so much AoE damage with the feathers and auto attacks, an insane wave clear and amazing healing.
I'll update this guide when I have time. This is mostly a test to learn how to set up guide chapters<3
