HI everyone, I make my first build on Mobafire so if anything doesn't work please tell me =) and please be nice with me i'm french and my english is a bit poor x).

So, i use this build with Xerath because i think it's the best and when i can be full stuff it's just a fun to pown some ennemy with an epic range !!
You can be a really stronger assist DPS on teamfight and if you play good you can win all teamfight... except with some feeder (KILL THEM ALL :@)

For rune i use only Ap runes and Mag. Penetration runes, at level 1 with a you have 16mana/5sec regen and 33 AP

Runes list :

- Quintessences Ap x3
- Marks Mag. Penetration x9
- Seals Ap/Level x9 you can switch with Greater Seal of Replenishment Seals Mana/5Sec x9
- Glyphs Ap/Level x9 here you can swith too with Glyphs CDR x9

For the masteries i use the most simple for an Ap champ : 9/0/21
But on the Utility Tree i focus the regen mana/5sec so i put :

-2 points on Perseverence for 4% of regen mana
-3 points on Mediatation for make the combo : Doran's Ring+ Perseverence.

With this focus of regen mana at level 1 i have like 16mana/sec regen. With that i can harass more my lane. The other masteries was the same like a AP Champ.

I have build there items because i think that make Xerath really really stronger.

I begin by Doran's ring like all ap champ ;)
At my first return i buy Tear of the Goddess + Boots of Speed (I Just Buy Tear Of Goddness For Begin To Charge The Stack Of Mana) for continues i up my Boots of Speed by Socerer's Shoes follow a Blasting Wand for begin the Core Build when i can Rabbadon's Deathcap that make me stronger on early / mid game i buy a Fiendish Codex because i think the CDR was just the secondary focus for an OP Xerath. After this i begin to up the second Core Item Rylai's Crystal Scepter, YES ! i take a rylai because he just give you like 500 Hp and CC for domining your ennemies =P.



With this you have a good stuff for a Mid Game with Power, Mana and some CDR - HP


For the late game i finally buy my Archangel's Staff the late Core Item of my build, i up my Fiendish Codex by Morello's Evil Tome and for final item i buy Abyssal Scepter because that give you more resistance against AP champ a bit more AP and a halo for reduce Mag. resist ennamy arround you.


In late game, with this build you have 600+ Ap with that power and Ascended FormAscended Form you have arround 100 armor combined with Abyssal Scepter you have arround 70 Mag. Resist, after with Locus of powerLocus of Power and Sorcerer's Shoes you take a 60% Mag. Penetration (without the Abyssal Sceper passive)... So i think you are now an awesome ANIMAMORTAR. ENJOY IT !! :D

For skill sequence i have choose to focus the A Arcanopulse for Farming / Harass (i just put 1 point level 2 on the E Mage ChainsMage Chains for the Stun), When i can't up the A i put the points on the W Locus of PowerLocus of Power for Range / Mag. Penetration and sometime for the little boost of speed and finally i up the E.


For me it's a good skill sequence for harass and finish the runner x)

On team work i stay behind the fight with Locus of PowerLocus of Power and i focus the most squishy ennemy with my Mage ChainsMage Chainsfor stun and see him implose xD!! I launch my Arcane Barrage when the ennemy team was packed for put on them the biggest damage remember you can launch 1 Arcanopulse when your ultimate is active, and finaly i finish with Arcanopulse and Mage chainsMage Chains.

I hope this first build is comprehensive and clear for all sumonners playing Xerath.
