About me
(note: I'm not level 30 yet, so I don't play ranked. The games I'm talking about are 5v5 normal games, no draft pick, and most of the times no jungler.)

I start this build off with the recommended items,
Boots and
Health Potions. This is best to start with, since it'll give you the extra movement speed you need to get closer to your enemy to cast your
Audacious Charge.
Then, when you I get 1000 coins (or more) by farming/getting kills, I buy my
Giant's Belt. This will give me the extre health you can really use when you get into fights, since you'll be at least level 3 when you get your
Giant's Belt, so you'll have your
Battle Cry which will make you kinda hard to kill at low level.
After getting your
Giant's Belt, don't build it into anything yet. Just keep it for the extra hp boots, and start to build some life steal. Start of with a
Vampiric Scepter and then try to build that into a
Bloodthirster. This will make you even harder to kill, and make it easy for you to farm or stay in lane for very long.
Now it's time to get some attack speed. Instead of building a
Phantom Dancer, I build a
Statikk Shiv, because it'll give me just a little more damage with it's charges. This will make farming a lot easier, and it'll do just some nice little extra damage on champions when fighting.
Now you can finally build your
Giant's Belt into a
Warmog's Armor! This will make you nice and tanky and really hard to kill for your enemies.
At this point, you'll either be or almost finished with your game, or you'll have a very long lasting game. When you have a long lasting game, this part is for you! You'll now be building a
Trinity Force. This will give you some nice extra increases on attack speed, attack damage and some extra healt, just to mention a few.
When your game still didn't end at this point, buy a
Ravenous Hydra, for even more attack damage and life steal. You should be owning you're enemies by now!:p

I know this ain't the best guide you'll find on here, but please take your time to read it, and, if needed, feel free to leave some feedback for guides I'll may write in the future. I hope this guide helped you getting an idea of how to build
Xin Zhao. Have fun playing and I hope to see you in-game sometime!
