No one can trade against you at your level 1 use that advantage against them in any way possible, but still farming.
If enemy gets first kill onto you play safe, farm and call for ganks

During Mid game try to roam to other lanes to help them out.

Late game is when you shine the most, but don't try to get caught in a bad position.
Stay with your teammates during team fights and pushes. One kill onto you could loose the team fight and give the enemy the upper hand of the game.
