His life steal and damage is really annoying early game, wait until you get berserkers to poke hard and try trade. Don't all in until you get zeal(unless your fed).
Ahri
You can try proc your q and use e to dodge her charm, if you do this and all in her it should be an easy clean up. Try not to shove wave to far though, and don't trade until you get zeal.
Caitlyn
Goddamn broke right now. Try poke her like crazy and force her to back, dont engage without using e as if she traps you, you can escape with e.
Camille
Try only trade after shes used her grapple, if shes grappling into you to stun try use e to escape the stun then trade with her. If her shields up you can use q mid-late game to proc q dash.
Darius
Honestly if you play right then he cant do anything. Proc q use e to dash and q to dash again then hit w for that bonus shield, hit maybe one basic attack and a q before hitting e again. Rinse wash repeat. Eventually when hes around 1/3 health you might be able to all in him. But be very cautious.

Ekko
A good ekko is annoying an average is still annoying. Even poking ekko is a struggle as they can proc their passive which allows them to do more damage. Keep SUPER SUPER SHORT TRADES, in order to counter this. Dont use ult until hes used his, and try align into where hes ulting to for free damage.
Garen
Only watch for ganks. If you do the basic poke combo you can prevent his passive from activating which screw him over, try to poke him away from minion waves in order to try and freeze cs and prevent him from getting it.
Gangplank
This guys annoying as, his movement bonus makes it hard to hit him with anything, try use e to take out barrels and prevent him from getting damage. Avoid trading or csing before getting zeal. just try and freeze wave near tower.
Gnar
Hes just really annoying early game, mid- late game avoid fighting him when hes big boy. Try not to force waves in otherwise he can abuse his range, and hit you whilst hes under tower.
Fiora
Highly mobile hard to hit champ. However so are you, using q knockups you can out cc her, you can also use your e to run circles around her and avoid her abusing her passive. Do not engage when she ults though try bait it out with e then escape and let her waste it.
Jax
Again depends on the jax, typically you can out mentality them, and bait out their shield using e, and then all inning them afterwards. His shield doesn't block you q damage so try poke with that and e last second before he stuns you.
Renekton
Most renektons can only get damage on you from stuns. If you time it well you can escape them with the second cast on e. Again its the same story of poking until hes around half health. Be mindfull of his fury however if its even half full his trades can equal yours early game, and he can heal which will turn fights in his favor. Stay away from him when he ults as he will always win trades and fights.
Irelia
If she gets just one kill above you early game she can win. Her stun allows her to quickly proc her passive and obliterate your health prevent you from being able to trade or even get cs. Try sacrificing cs in order to pull wave closer to tower.
Mordekaiser
Most mordes don't realize how much they can bully you early game. His huge health pool and big damage makes it almost impossible to poke him down. His Ws heal and sheild also keeps him in lane longer then you and can prevent you from doing any damage to him at all. Try out scale him and DO NOT FEED. As it can lead to a game over for your whole team. If he ults you whilst youve cast your E then you can recast it to counter his ult. This gives a chance for jungle to gank and pressure him.
Nasus
D CANNEEE. Just play against him like any other champ, prevent him from csing and win game early. If you failed and he gets enough stacks then avoid fighting him completely without your own tank.
Kled
You have huge mobility to counter his bear traps and poke him down. Whilst even, if hes not mounted one full combo of ( E-AA-Qknockup-AA-W-Q-E) can kill him
Malphite
Tanky malphites can counter you And AP malphites can. All i can say is just try farm up and outscale him.
Ornn
He isnt a threat at all really. Hes just SUPER TANKY. dont let him freeze wave, and try not to push wave hard as he can help his jungle annihilate you. Best hope is to poke him and hope over time you can take tower then kill the rest of their team.
Maokai
Same as ornn.
Cho'Gath
Only becomes a threat after he gets his ult. An AP cho can play smart and bait you into attacking right up close, and knocking you up with his q, which will do huge damage. Try avoid this and use your e to trade and bait out his rupture. Its a very visable cast so using e can help you escape it. When he has low mana all inning him is easy, He might hit one q on you but that wonthelp him win fights, just escape really. Ult is good here for preventing him from escaping if your slowed from his Q or E.
Nocturne
If he has lethal tempo game over. Otherwise same as every other champ. POKE POKE then all in.
Sylas
He make alotta moves at once, be super carefull. Even a noob sylas can pose a threat because of his heals from king slayer(E). If you arent winning lane just try poke and outscale him as he is a squish and your ult mixed with a stacked q can prevent him from making anymoves.
Pantheon
His stun is his only threat really. If he uses his sheild you can e or q onto the other side where hes vulnerable and destroy his health from there.
Riven
Super hard matchup like any champ against riven. Her high mobility and damage, and magic health outta nowhere makes you almost even with her every fight, Her stun however screw you over compltely and allows a riven to hit a full combo on you destroying your health. If this happens you can back and sacrifice cs or you can try to get a trade after, which will most likely result in her getting ability again and repeating it. You can really only kill her during level 2 if they're trying to kill you early. Otherwise best advice is to ban her,
Shen
His only threat is his sheild like jaxes, If you can bait it out then you can win trades. Your q and w still do damage to him when hes in shield. Watch out for ganks however as his taunt will prevent you from escaping with Q or R. If its a Rammus jungle as well your screwed.
Yasuo
An average yasuo is easy to vs. A skileld yasuo is a bit more difficult as their mobility from E can screw over your abilitys. You also must be very carefull how you use your e as they can just get directly onto where you E'd almost instantly. If you time it right you can waste his knockups with your ult or q knockup, which prevents him from using his ult.
Zed
I honstly dont know. When playing against them its all good then late game they do mad damage outta nowhere. Just try outplay them i guess.
Sett
Hes only dangerous if you all in him. You can poke him down to around half health, and then use your q knock up and ult to prevent him from using his w and instantly deleting his health. ignite doesn't do as much damage, as his heal heals him so dont expect a kill from ignite.
Volibear
Voli CC mixed with tank, mixed with damage is a huge threat. Hes like mordekaiser except his mobility and cc from his q makes him a bigger pain to deal with. Treat him like morde but play more carefully, avoid all in fights at all times.
Tryndamere
Hes a squish. Use your e to poke him down like usual and then try bait out his ult. If you time it right you can ult him before he hits hist ult and kill him whilst hes airborne. Hes only a threat late game, with ult, and when he has full fury.
Yorick
If you have your q stacked you can escape his wall with it, super fun. Treat him like morde and voli however and do not trade with him when his ult is up as he will just outsustain your, and you'll be dead or forced outta lane.
Teemo
Hes only a threat late game when he has mushrooms everywhere and his items make him a bit more beefier. Early game you can attempt to get kills on him, however his blind prevents auto attack damage (not q's again). Try use your e to bait that out, then all in him when hes got no blind.
Urgot
Poke like usual. As soon as he flips you use your e to go escape and get away and make him waste his E shield, And most likely his W.
Rammus
You cannot kill this man alone. His kit with brambles or thornmail make him to tanky. You might be able to take him on in a 2v2 with your jungle, but be carefull. If hes jungler you HAVE to have good vision.
Singed
Just dont chase him. Early game you can close down on him fast and kill him easy.
Aurelion Sol
Hes not even a champ any more really. Just kill him. Do ping however as soon as he leaves waves as he can influence the other lanes heavily.
Akali
Annoying to vs early and big threat mid. You do outscale her however and very late game you can win.
Alistar
Hes just annoying with his knock backs. Focus the adc with your mobility to win bot lane easy.
Amumu
Pretty annoying to vs in lane, as he can cc you for years, however hes better against more tankier champs. In jungle hes the same however you can still win 1v1s if you have full jungle item.
Anivia
Super squish, easy to avoid his stuns, and you have three dashes to escape his ults. Try just poke him round half health, then all in him even if he ults you as you can still win.
Annie
Shes a threat to everyone, just try your best.
Aphelios
Huge threat late game as he just BRRaa BRRaa BRRaas you. You can win 1v1s however but team fights become more difficult when their supports around, so be carefull.
Ashe
Honestly i love vsing Ashe now when im bot, or even top. If she hits you with her slow your dashes can still help you gap close melt her health. Just play normally and you win. Unless theres supp diff.
Blitzcrank
His hooks. Hes just annoying.
Brand
High damage, but is still a burst weakling. Any champ whos got no health is no problem to you as you can just destroy their health. Early game will be annoying still though so just try scale into late.
Braum
Big boy stuns are scary, but hes a tank and trys cutting off skill shots, if you can reach adc there is not much he can do.
Cassiopeia
Early game to late shes just annoying. Late game however even if youve fed shes squishy so you can just destroy her health. Watch out for her ult however as theres no escaping that. And even a bad cass can just spam her e to kill you.
Corki
They think they have the advantage of range but they dont. Just get close to them and the puss out and run.
Evelynn
Can only do damage to you if your early game. 1v1s you win easy, same as usual in lane, dont get ganked by her.
Fiddlesticks
Fiddledick is just annoying, you can clean him up easy. In jungle you can pressure him super hard.
Fizz
Its fizz. avoid trade with him as his dash can prevent your escapes. Just out scale dont feed.
Galio
The only problem with vsing galio is his CC, whether hes tank or ap galio his cc can prevent your escapes. You may be able to time you second cast on e's correctly but its still risky.
Ivern
Dont hurt the friend of the forest. He can only really screw you over in 2v1s.
Lillia
Her only threat is her movement speed, in lane or jungle you can still poke her. If she makes you drowzy you can cast e twice to cleanse it, which is super helpfull.
Zoe
Same as lillia with her sleeps. In lane you can win with your mobility by dodging her skill shots. Its so nice to have someone whos kit can counter her.
Yuumi
I mean you can 1v1 her, but its yummi late game she can carry with her 50 assists and 1 million healing.
Ryze
Only annoying late game when he has more health, early game hes like any ranged champ, they think they can poke you but you can just gap close them and make them sac their nuts.
LeBlanc
Shes just impossible to hit when shes in 4 places at once. Not a huge threat just annoying as hell
Sion
You can counter his knockup with your knockup, or you can escape it with e. The only annoying thing about him is his tankiness. Yones not good against tanks early game.
Yasuo
The brothers combo is just so mad, You can bot int but if you both hit ults you can obliterate the enemy team. Its also badass from everyone's point of view.
Kayn
His gank potential is super good. Mix his knockups and damage with yours and you got a strong duo that can carry the game.

I see alotta Yones not doing the basic combo to either poke or start trades with other players. This works as soon as you hit level 3. You try to proc you q by getting two stacks from minions. You can then use your e to close the distance on champions within range or just outta range, you then q dash to close the gap and knock them up Auto attack, W Then auto attack, You can then keep fighting them if you want or just back of instantly if they're a threat. Its a very simple combo and can help you pressure the laner. (E-Q-AA-W-AA-Q-E)
Jungling
Yones actually quite viable in jungle. It is best to rush full jungle item and gank lanes afterward. His q and e allow you to dash through walls which allow some good setups for drags, rifts, or even for easy ganks. It also makes him highly mobile in jungle, being able to go camp to camp with just dashes. This makes flash almost obsolete. You can keep dash if you want to play safe however and dont think you can proc you q in time to escape a rotation or duel.
Im not the best
Im not the best yone at all, im just trynna give tips to anyone trynna learn him. I think im good as i can carry a few games in my elo and when im duoing with my mates who are higher elo than me. Im only around 27k mastery points and only need 1 more S token for mastery lvl 7 so im not just straight inting. Take my adcive more as tips rather then How to play yone pls.
