Yorick is not a tank. He's not a beefy APS carry. He's Yorick, very similar to Lee Sin and how people think he's "UP"

In this intro I'll show you how to dominate in lane, how to last hit with Yorick, and how to win from 1v1 to 1v3's

Armor Penetration runes are very important to use. As none of the build you are using is using Armor Penetration, the more armor pen runes you have the stronger you will get through those tanks.

Armor runes are the biggest things any Meele would need, and you are squishy early game so those armor runes were help you through most sticky situations.

Mana regen runes aren't as important I don't think Yorick actually needs any Glyph runes although it seemed helpful to put something that he would use from time to time if he needs more mana from "natural" abilities.

Yorick is a DPS/necromancer which is why his description is "Meele" and "Pusher"
Although I cannot say much about the masteries I have used this will save you in situations with the armor, and movement.

Items are very important.
These items are so you can survive a 1v1, you can pretty much 1v1 any person, from Tryndamere to Fiddle Sticks. If you do not believe me add InvalidGamer in-game and I will beat any champion you throw at me on a 1v1.

Early Game
would be the first item of my choice as you'll have lots of mana problems
2 of these will make sure you won't die in lane early game. As you'll also have problem if you are against Anivia in mid.


Early-Mid game
Of course Yorick will start needing speed in order to catch others, so I'd use boots by now.
This is when Yorick's mana problem jumps in so you put in a Tear of Godness
Yorick doesn't exactly need it, although I'd get used to buying them if you have no runes


Mid game
This is when the fun begins and you can start owning the battle field
Combined with Manamune, you'll pretty much have unlimited HP
Get a health pot as people will start ganking you

Late-mid game
Well its time to start messing people up and busting your shovel in their head, so you need to start running into those team fights and own that Tryndamere that's been annoying all early game
Since your in the team fights might as well get some extra damage right?

Late game
This is when your focused on because everyone notices how "OP" Yorick is, time for you start jumping into 1v2's and killing that Karthus that keeps picking up the kills

End/extra time
Since you have so much HP, time to use it.
So this is final resort of action. But yeah...

You will want to max this second, as this will be the most important thing to you late game, but not early game.

You only want to level this up at level 4. [ONE TIME LEVEL] as it won't be useful as the slow needs a buff in order to slow anything, although it does small AoE damage for your farming eventually.

LEVEL THIS UP FIRST AND ALWAYS If you level this up. You will be able to harass the lane your in by spamming it at the person that is offensive side of yours. [1v1 = win]

You only want to level this once. As it will make it a 1v4 to a 1 1/2 v 4

Harassment is very easy with Yorick. As your will pretty much make sure you don't die ever.


Early Game
Throw your at a low HP minion so you can take gold while harassing

Early-Mid Game
Throw your at the enemy champion first, then throw your at a low HP minion so you can take gold while harassing

Spam your W
Jump in with your ultimate

Good luck buddy.

Farming is simple, you will need to know how to last hit with someone with low attack damage. As people that have farmed with a support, know how to farm with a low AD/DPS character early game.


Do not spam ghouls in farming, you will run out of mana faster than you think. While your farming hold your ghouls, use your ghouls for taking down towers and harassing champions.

Spam all your ghouls, your Q doesn't do any damage to turrets, so people stop doing that.
