INTRODUCTION

Hello Everyone and Welcome to Season 3. I will be explaining My Yorick Build. If you don't like it then make an account and make your own damn build.

Yorick is a STRONG pusher, probably the best champion for pushing a lane, however pushing down a tower CAN be challenging. In this build you may have questions which I will be happy to answer, be prepared negative comments will be deleted.

BASICS

Okay, now here are some basic facts about Yorick. He is NOT a late game champ. You will be ult-ing your adc or tank, depending on situation. Yes Yorick is strong, but he falls off a little late game and needs some power-house support.

I have seen many situations where a team fight is going bad, and with a proper Yorick ult, turns the fight around.

Yorik is a terrifying top laner. Even if the opposing team picks one of your counters, they will still know they will have to be very aggressive to keep up in CS.

BEWARE OF OVER-EXTENSION BECAUSE THEY WILL GANK YOU HARD, FAST AND WITHOUT MERCY

Alright, so as I have stated before, Yorick is a pro pushing/harass champ. Yorick however is a very mana dependent champ, so the first time back you should be at least getting your tear of the goddess. Proper timing of your ward and placement can and will save your life. Remember the ward only lasts 3 minutes, the nice thing about Yorik, his e is like a momentary ward if needed. Remember to help your jungle with blue buff! Scratch your jungles back and he will return the favor.

Try to have your first back enough to buy a tear, boots, and a ward. I understand there will be games you just cannot do that without backing before then, just try your best. As I said before, boots are situational. I recommend watching the enemies items to predict a decent counter. If you are stuck of only buying 1 item towards the sheen, go for the mana crystal because Yorick doesn't use ability power. The Sheen will be worked towards an Iceborne Gauntlet, if you choose to use that item.

The reasoning behind Teleport is, to teleport to a tower that needs immediate defending or ganking the unsuspecting enemy that has over extended just a little too far. Remember to gank when your lane isn't in danger, because it will be on cool down for a while and Yorik is a slow mo-fo.

DO NOT BUY TOWARDS SHEEN IF YOU ARE NOT BUILDING A GAUNTLET!!

Okay, so you have made it to end game, hopefully winning your lane and securing some kills. If not that is okay. After laning phase, Yorick is no longer the major power house like he was in lane. Your best bet is to, if entering a team fight, ult either the tank or adc. Usually it will be the adc, but if your adc sucks and your tank is carrying definitely ult the tank. Pretty much ult the person that is carrying the hardest on your team. If that person is you, well better say GG cause you wont be able to carry hard enough to support the dead weight.

Here are some counter picks to Yorick that if possible, ban 1 of them at least.

Cho'Gath - Can gain stacks off of feasting ghouls/Silence/Knock up/Slow/Passive
Trundle - Trundle Passive/Ult
Tryndamere - Turbo Slow/Ult/Huge Crits/Annoying/TryndaQUEER
Nasus - Can stack Q off of ghouls
Rammus - Taunt/Armor Reflect Shield
Shen - Taunt/IT'S FREAKING SHEN

Now here are some top laners Yorick can handle with ease, or should be able to at least:

Teemo - Blind doesn't affect ghouls attack
Lee Sin - Can't out push/Not enough damage output to counter Yorik's life steal
Darius - Come at me bro
Jayce - Ghouls can take blunt force of his power ball stuff
Rengar - Kitty's belong in the jungle
