Introduction

Zed is a great assassin, and able to jungle very effectively. The items i choose for him may not seem like the best choice, but they work great for me. Thornmail causes enemy AD to be turned against them, while having a ton of armor, and the ravenous hydra gives alot of AD to yourself. I also noticed he does not need boots early in the game, and if u play him right, neither health potions.

Jungling

If you want to jungle with zed instead of going toplane, i do recommend to buy Hunter's Machete and 5 health potions. Also choose smite instead of exhaust. Start with the blue golem for quick energy regeneration, and if possible, ask for someone to help damage him. When u do not need the machete anymore, u should sell it. (Around lvl 10)

Farming

Ah, farming... Zed is one of the best minion farmers i have ever played. Not only the splash damage of the Tiamat will mow them down, also his abilities are just shaped for farming. In the start of the game, try to get the last hits. As you progress with his levels, this is an effective way of killing all the minions: 1. Launch your shadow in the middle of a group of minions. 2. Use shadow slash. 3. Use Razor shuriken. 4..... 5. Profit!
