My bad, I never even saw his post. I began posting before he'd posted, and finished after, and my comment took me to a new page. :P Would have realized who you were directing that at if I saw it.
I didn't really deserve to win this game tbh. I didn't exactly play bad, I just didn't play well either. I gave first blood to Veigar + Xin when xin ganked. Even though I flashed away from Xin straight away after his E, I was still slowed and both of them caught up to me, I got stunned + knocked up and died to them. I don't think I could have done anything to prevent that, I just got hit by too much CC... Veigar also got another 2 kills ganking ( both times I'd pinged the lane a thousand times and said VEIGAR GANKING [ insert lane here ], CARE ), and so he started beating me in-lane too.
I stopped focusing on the game because I was so sure we were going to lose and ended up going 0/4, but I picked up 2 kills at some point, and then later on went back to 4/4, so I got back into the game from that. Late-game we were still losing, but I made some good calls, of which pretty much all paid off in my team's favour, and we won thanks to them.
In this one I didn't really have a chance to play well or bad. Evelynn ganked bot at level 3. I saw her go there and pinged them back, telling them she was about to gank, but she got a double kill anyway. And she just kept on ganking over and over again, leaving the lane before I had enough time to kill her. Late-game we simply had better team-fights and we should have won, but we were constantly 4v5 or 3v5. Everytime we grouped up someone would go to farm a lane, and we'd get engaged on. Or what happened once, their Taric got caught and Shaco was top so we engaged on them, only to find out MF had recalled about 2 seconds before we found Taric, and we lost the team-fight because her ult was a big influence over our strong team-fights. After that we were never really grouped up as 5 again, so we lost.

talon destroys Veigar.
maybe you shud have started wards and pots. this would allow you to not die by ganks. Plus, you wouldn't need boots to kill Veigar anyways.

Edit: Why is Kha'Zix insta-ban after his nerf. ;C I swear before the nerf he wasn't banned this much, after it he's pretty much ALWAYS the first ban in champion select.
League of cleavers, Arpen change made him zomg.

I personally don't have issues with him as Swain, but that's because Swain deals with AD assasin's better than most mages.

In other words, I don't know whether it's worth taking, and a lot of other people such as you don't know whether it's worth taking, but 2 great Irelia players say it's great and I haven't heard of any great Irelia players dissing it, so I'm just taking their word for it.
