A lane I can't figure out how to beat is Xayah + Rakan. Rakan has ridiculous gank setup and between the two they can layer their CC, so pushing doesn't feel like the right strategy, unless you just shove and back off so you don't really interact with them.

It also feels difficult to all-in them with Rakan's mobility and the their ability to layer CC. Plus you tend to have to play back in the lane so you aren't standing in front of Xayah's feathers, so your lines for getting to them generally aren't the best. Also you have to factor that if you do get hit by some of their CC if not all of it that is time you aren't doing damage.

Sounds like I have a research project ahead of me.

Jinx + Morgana
vs
Jhin + Leona

Went better than I expected. With missiles Jinx out ranges Jhin and so is not in much danger from Leona before she gets her ultimate. If Leona goes in Morgana can root her and we can chunk her making her next dive more risky especially if she does it before Aftershock is back up.

How Morg plays the lane is important to making it work though. If you don't sync up it will probably come off worse than I experienced in this game.

This Morg played it well aside from Level 2 (she new she Fd up), even to baiting them in sometimes thinking they could kill her. I just played off of that and ranked up all the kills. This Morg did have an odd since of humor though. But hey I'll take the decent game play and the V.

I was overaggressive without sufficient lane pressure in the early game. That got me killed. And my team screwed up in several ways such as being overaggressive looking for kills or just being unaware of the mini-map so they got ganked despite warnings that they were about to get ganked.

I need to respect lane priority even if I can outfight the enemy jungler.

So they got a few kills on Yorick in the early game and then they just left him to his own devices, which meant he did Yorick things, which is just splitpush. About the time the team decided to actually deal with him he was taking our Top base turret. I guess they realized then that they couldn't leave him alone, but that meant that everyone went off to side lanes to try to kill him except those turrents while important aren't as important as Mid. But hey Jinx and Veigar.

Anyway, I didn't get enough of a lead in lane to make that big of an impact on the game.

There is one situation I think I could have turned around, but the better play was to walk away from the incoming Teleport, except my team didn't see it that way, so I split and they went in and they died.

The Vayne was interesting. Some definite Vayne spotting moments where she did things like Tumble into Nunu & Willump's ult.

Yorick is irritating, especially because his ghouls take virtually no damage from AoE attacks. You have to kill the damn things practically individually and they are hard to target. With them mauling you and Yorick mauling you, and the Maiden zapping you it is like dealing with three characters in one.

I like the concept of Yorick, but counterplay seems to be beating him so badly in lane and then ending the game before he can take all your turrets despite getting hard stomped in lane. Not the best thing for the game IMO.

Not running Manaflow Band on Lucian feels bad.

Knew going in that this would be a difficult one given that this was my Leona's first time ever playing ranked. Ended up in some all-ins that their lane was able to handle mainly because of Black Shield. Rest of the team wasn't doing that well either so a very uphill battle.

Did have a nice outplay where I Flashed out of Lucian's ult into the Krug camp and then killed him from there.

Morgana set me up with some kills in lane, but it didn't really feel like we could tower dive them with Ezreal's mobility and Leona's CC, so I froze the wave and/or slow pushed to get out to like a 50cs lead on Ezreal. Picked up a couple of kills with my ult as well. But come late game I was just Rengar food whenever he decided he was going to kill me. He could easily burst through the shield from Phantom Dancer.

Not sure what kind of counter play Riot is expecting, but running to my Nexus turrets and still getting deleted while standing between two of them feels bad for sure.

Nunu & Willump is kind of ridiculous right now. Early kill on Garen. Help Fiora push lane. She stays and immediately dies after Garen runs back to lane. Like really? That **** makes junglers want to pull their hair out. Here is an advantage and let me help you base so you can buy items and continue snowballing. And nope.

Laners were good enough not to feed to hard and get some of their own advantages. That let me just work to make sure we continued to accrue advantages.

Took one stupid fight around like the third dragon. We lost two and should have just conceeded, but we kept going and I think all of us but one got wiped.

If I can clean that sort of thing up that would be good.

Why jungle. Eh. ADC is a total **** shoot around getting a good support and then not getting gank banged by four man dives.

My ADC who was listed as as support main had a 38% winrate on Miss Fortune and was running Ignite with only 10 seconds left in champions select. Oh and our support was going to be Maokai vs a Morgana. Seemed kind of sketch to me.

Unfortunately that means I have to play on my alt account since I don't want to wait 30 min.

I almost didn't play this game because our ADC was listed as a jungle main with a 30% winrate and our support registered as unranked, but apparently I got lucky as our ADC was a diamond player who had quit for a while so his main was only in Silver at the moment. So an out of position, rusty, smurf that had an unlucky streak in jungle as they were getting back into the game.

It was good thing they popped off because Tryndamere got solo **** on by Urgot and Ryze ate most of Vi's ganks and was generally having a hard time with Xerath despite me burning Xerath's Flash twice.

Helped Tryndamere pick up a kill on Urgot and helped Bot lane get a kill on LeBlanc and as I mentioned above I burned Xerath's Flash twice and pushed him out of lane at least one of those times. Oh and I stole an Infernal Drake at the cost of my life.
