Fair to lose points for queue dodging.
totally unfair...i used to dodge the que when someone is trollpicking ( I AM MID, I DONT CARE REPORT ETC ETC).
Now u are doomed to loose league points.

i think it's actually pretty fair. it makes for a much less enjoyable ranked game, but it also gives a sense of seriousness to ranked. i'm noticing that with the penalty on, i'm seeing fewer trolls. i know i'll get bashed for this, but i kinda like it when league of legends implements a system that's unforgiving.
If I helped you out, be sure to throw me a +Rep!

A poor change.
the reason given was poor as well. (by a rioter, nonetheless)
"Took ages to find a game on dominion as people kept dodging. Some people just want a game."
People don't really join ranked for "just" a game. IT's much more serious. Want "just" a game, go for the others.
The removal of points loss brought about an era of ranked where there were far few trolls in the games which launched - It gave people an opportunity to back out at no cost besides time (Which, to be fair, was time which most likely would have been lost anyway on a fail game). Others could then pause, and rejoin at a later time.
It's nice how when they introduced it they said "YEah, dodging the queue doesnt really reflect your skill, it made no sense that it should happen really". And now its as if that comment was never made.
PFft.
Guess the answer is:
"deal with it."

Want a guide destroyed? reviewed?
The only thing I dislike is it can be abused by trolls since they know people would rather avoid dodging. Then again, it costs less than losing so it's actually not really worth it to troll someone if you don't get the pick you want.
Overall, I don't really mind, people generally shouldn't dodge. I just wonder what happens if your client derps, would be lame to lose LP for that, especially if it's during promotion matches.
lol @ the poll btw

Pics or it didn't happen. That 1) doesn't sound like anything Riot would let its employees post and 2) has nothing to do with losing league points when someone dodges a ranked game.
This would, however, be a fine justification for adding in a longer wait time after dodging a Dominion game.

i agree with the change. I hate queedodgers with a passion. Ohh, you just spend 2 minutes quee time, followed by 10 mins of champ select? well **** you, 2 min and 10 more.
2-3 quee dodges were quite normal right after the ELO-loss change and i disliked taking 30 minutes to get into a game.
Dat poll...

It's hard to say really. If it's a person who is a baby that rages because they can't play their 1 champ in their 1 lane then they should lose points.
If it's someone who wants to dodge because the team is comprised of obvious bad players or obvious trolls then no they shouldn't lose points. Some people are forced to play with 1 tard who decided to afk and it's really not fair.
I get that you can report but that 1 person has effected everyone and cost you more than just that match, 9/10 times they don't care about the game like you do.
That is the huge issue, you can't really make a system like that I guess.

Obviously, I feel this is unfair and extremely biased, so I'll ask you for your thoughts too, to put myself into perspective.
So do you feel it is fair to punish people for ranked queue dodging by deducting points? What are your thoughts?
