It seems that you'll have Team Builder instead of champ select.
And either together with the role/lane decision you can somehow decide on a game strategy beforehand or you are normally matched as Meta team and decide on a different strategy via chat while in match-up screen.

Pretty sure it's a new kind of normal queue for now. Since it will presumably be blind pick, it makes sense for the champ select to be built into the queue. Not sure what they'll end up doing if it gets adapted to draft later, probably just queue for position+role and do champ select normally.

The way I see this change is some people like it, most people hate it, I am indifferent about it. on one hand I like being able to queue for what you want, on the other I see it just breeding more Meta Nazi's into the system, you can't play Karma as a mid lane, or a fiddle/shaco top etc, if the game incorporates a system where champions can only be played in certain roles, example I queued for ADC/Marksmen so I only have a certain number of champions to pick from, instead of my entire roster then F*** it I'm out.
Not that I will be going ADC Ahri or anything but I don't like the idea of having a forced Meta.

Don't care.... I hate being collateral in some 4+1, 2+2+1 or 3+1+1...
And DuoQ is IMO not fair anyway.
Is the Builder on PBE already, since I can't see anything except that you choose a role/position and before getting into champ select you'll get in a pre-chatroom for match-up.
Dunno how ppl come to the conclusion that it's going to **** up ranked?
If ppl want to troll there they can already do so in normal champ select, but now you can simply decide on a role before entering queue and instantly get matched with others who selected the remaining positions for a full meta.
Can't understand how you come to the conclusion that ONLY with the Builder system somebody is going to troll with Darius Supp?
The only problem I can see there if somebody goes like "Middle Lane/Support" the system chooses them as bot lane support.
